Seems like the problem with the republicans, or any religious conservative for that matter, is that because their rules (that they chose to follow) don't allow them to have fun, or that theyre dead inside as a result of those rules, no one else is allowed to live a live outside of those rules.

Maybe personal beliefs shouldn't be imposed on policy that affects different people of different faiths. Wish that was written down somewhere. We could use it as a guideline for how the founding fathers wished the country would be run.

Why should merchan be lenient when the entire time the orange turd was hurling insults and the system, the judge, the judges family and the jurors while displaying a level of contempt, lack of decorum and respect for the institution, and an absolute lack of contrition?

For those of you asking/ curious, the reason given was 'yellow peril'. Really? I guess my being asian and directly affected by the Chinese activities in the scs makes me somehow a threat to yellow people?

So I made a comment on worldnews criticizing Chinese activity in the south china sea and apparently got banned for it by the automod. This happen to anyone else? Is this Lemmy's version of the need help post and the shape of things to come?
