That kid should have some monster forearms to be able to wrist flick plutonium and beryllium. His grip strength would crush your arm like an overripe banana. Plutonium is almost twice as dense as lead (though beryllium is almost 10 times less dense than lead).

There are 3d models of the demon core, so one would make a plastic version of this game. It'd be missing the cool blue flash you get from winning, but its good to test these kinds of things before you dig into your plutonium stockpile.

With a magnetic switch so it flashes on an instant before snapping shut and shuts off when opened!

[–] BambiDiego@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It even comes with a built-in flash to show you did it right!

Sadly the toy was recalled due to... Pushes glasses up nose "a lethal dose of radiation."

[–] Cikos@lemmy.world 14 points 2 years ago

Don’t forget: *.xyz domains can be taken away from you without warning. The registry did this before. Might want to switch.

Really? Got a source? I might need to convince a client to move away if true.

Ah that. Meh, sounds anecdotal and very specific to that users case.

[–] earmuff@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 years ago

Well, the tl;dr is: if your domain gets reported, it might get removed without further investigation. Not something that would let me sleep calmly. Then again, I‘m now curious what happens if I report a domain.

Demon core. ☢️

[–] M0oP0o@mander.xyz 3 points 2 years ago

It was nice to see the line go down

[–] FiniteBanjo@lemmy.today 0 points 2 years ago

Fixed how? The only two posts from here that I've seen in a long while were this one and an anti-scientific method wojak meme trying to make a statement about capitalism.

Was it taken over by new management or something?

[–] sabreW4K3@lazysoci.al -5 points 2 years ago (3 children)

How is this a science meme?

[–] Guntrigger@sopuli.xyz 28 points 2 years ago

It's a meme about science.

This is refering to a device used by researchers of nuclear weapons that accidentally went supercritical twice

'Cause we have to research demon cores in order to understand demonds, duh.
