That looks like a soulless corporate HQ

[-] RealFknNito@lemmy.world 27 points 2 weeks ago

It looks like I need to send my engineer into it for a science based objective. Bro actually lives there.

You’re not wrong

[-] Etterra@lemmy.world 95 points 2 weeks ago

That's the lab you need to use to research nuclear weapons.

[-] casmael@lemm.ee 45 points 2 weeks ago

Requires 750 minerals 1000 energy and three industrial age buildings

[-] De_Narm@lemmy.world 92 points 2 weeks ago

I'm gonna be honest, I love that design. That comparison just makes it better, those games had a big part in my childhood.

[-] QuantumSparkles@sh.itjust.works 52 points 2 weeks ago

I like it as a building, but not as a home. I’d absolutely launch my mech suit from there but I wouldn’t necessarily want to curl up in my pajamas with my dog there

[-] Khrux@ttrpg.network 12 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah this is a fantastic building for the robotics complex at a university.

[-] veroxii@aussie.zone 16 points 2 weeks ago

You could be Tony Stark or some super villain in that house for sure.

[-] Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 2 weeks ago

People hate on Bieber but I love his ridiculous tastes—I’ve always wanted a fully chrome car and this hideous but kinda beautiful building absolutely looks like something from SimCity 2000.

[-] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

I’d wololo that bad boy in an instant. Sunlight levels at maximum!

[-] mortemtyrannis@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 weeks ago

Justin Bieber confirmed Command and Conquer nerd.

[-] 3ntranced@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

If it had a stone facade instead of the sleek gray I'd be all over it.

Game is Command & Conquer Red Alert 2

[-] NikkiDimes@lemmy.world 23 points 2 weeks ago

And it came out in 2000 NOT 1999 🙄🙄🙄

[-] deezbutts@lemm.ee 18 points 2 weeks ago

Ya people should put some respect on that name

[-] Klear@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

You must construct additional pylons.

[-] MissJinx@lemmy.world 24 points 2 weeks ago

Proof that you can have money and not be classy

[-] TheDarksteel94@sopuli.xyz 30 points 2 weeks ago

Honestly, the majority of people with lots of money that live in my city have the least classy houses. It's either some soulless concrete corpo block or some gaudy thing with roman pillars in front of the entrance. That's the shit they don't show you on GQ lol

[-] MissJinx@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago

Why tho?! Can't they hire people with good taste to tell them this is shit?! oh well... i guess if I had bilions I wouldn't care about pesants opinions either

[-] FellowEnt@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 weeks ago

My parents live on a street where all the local footballers/celebs like to live. Without exception, they buy these beautiful ~£1,000,000 old houses, demolish them and replace with some nasty gaudy affront to architecture that absolutely screams new money. Almost all have those pillars...

[-] milicent_bystandr@lemm.ee 24 points 2 weeks ago

Initiating chronobieber in 3... 2.. 1..

[-] Nobody@lemmy.world 22 points 2 weeks ago

It looks like a blitzball stadium from FF X.

[-] LodeMike@lemmy.today 21 points 2 weeks ago

95% of the walls in that thing are not flat.

[-] steal_your_face@lemmy.ml 20 points 2 weeks ago

[-] psycho_driver@lemmy.world 13 points 2 weeks ago

F me imagine working 3rd shift and trying to get some sleep in that house.

[-] Kushan@lemmy.world 13 points 2 weeks ago

RA2 was from 2000 but otherwise accurate.

[-] SplashJackson@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 weeks ago

[-] Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 weeks ago
