A coordinated effort to stop buying animal products on a mass scale could go a long way toward crippling the GOP, but too many on the left are still too busy crying, "no ethical consumption under capitalism tho," to be ready for that conversation.

I’m not against your message but this isn’t really going to change behavior. Like it or not, incremental changes will be the only thing most Americans are open to. This sort of stuff just makes people dislike vegans

Argument checks out.

Username checks out.

FWIW, I've reduced my beef consumption by like, probably, 70% since I started buying Beyond/Impossible stuff. Incremental change is possible; doesn't have to be all or nothing / all at once.

My kids actually prefer Impossible over beef, I'm cool with it, I'm not strictly vegetarian, but I don't have to have meat all the time.

My ex was a vegetarian, so I made an effort. Some of those efforts stuck, and I'm okay with that. Even a reduction is a net benefit. Just wish it was less expensive, but I do stock up when it's on sale.

I've always found the black bean and corn burgers to be better than the Impossible, honestly.

I've not tried those, but I've heard similar. Will have to check them out.

Do they cook like Impossible/Beyond? The neices and nephews love it in Hamburger Helper or tacos, though I also use TVP grounds for "instant tacos" (as they like to call them lol).

Ohhh, no, they would not. It's usually just a patty. If you're using a ground beef replacer, stick with the Impossible.

Cool thanks. Will definitely try them as burgers as I have heard good things about that style. Will stick to the impossible for the kids meals haha.

I’m sure my cat will adjust to her vegan diet.

~~Ethical consumption~~ Ethical production. Also, not eating meat is going to make it hard to eat the rich.
