"Does a bear shit in the woods" and "it's not Pope surgery"?

One missing point:

git stash $NAME lets you name a stash, and then you also can pop with that name to restore.

Super useful if you're doing something with plotting or presenting data and you want to try a few easy variants to see what you like most. I don't use it all the time but it's good to know.

You unfortunately can't get everyone no matter how good the education system is. Especially if you live in a state like Indiana where it's trendy to give money to private and charter schools instead of public school.

Well, she did have a brother who stopped being technically black I guess...

I have been using the Kasa (TP-Link) branded smart switches around my house, but now that I have a few third reality zigbee sensors for my doors and so on, I am seeing the value of using more outlets/switches that act as zigbee repeaters. Do any of you have pretty reasonable (and cheapish) smart light switches or outlets I can invest in? The Amazon offerings are in the $50 each one which is pretty steep, though I guess I could just do one each room and do the rest with Kasa stuff.

I would like to expand the zigbee mesh network so I can use the devices where I actually want them without using smart outlet devices plugged into real outlets all over the place. If there was something that was $20 or less each item that would be super excellent. The wife and I plan to move in the not too distant future and I'd like to replace the "in the wall" stuff so that HA works throughout the house and I don't have plugs / dongles / wall warts all over the place.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I prefer to think they sang the song over and over again on the round trip and the movie just splices it down to one time through the song.

In reality, these tortured souls rode through the frigid sky with no food or sleep for days on end with only the words of "a whole new world" to maintain their sanity. Their love was obviously forged through shared suffering.

Really enjoying nvim-dap-ui lately, but I always have to adjust the sizes of the windows. The docs have left me high and dry so far, but maybe one of you have a good solution for a consistent layout when you first attach to a file?

Like reading an encyclopedia. Was quite a rough read.

And the 35 or so odd well adjusted linux folks around that find anime, fishnets, thinkpads, (and all associated memes) to be annoying AF. Esp anime / manga / uwu /waifu / and everything in that microcosm of artistic styling if I'm being honest.

I just like the software composability discussion in plain English, man, not the side of fries.

Edit: And anyone who disagrees uses stock Ubuntu unity and unironically thinks it's both beautiful and just as good as any other distro :P

I saw a post of the guy doing NFC to get various disney+ and Netflix shows. I've installed an integration with ADB... and have no idea how to proceed. Any of you have yaml snippets I can steal to that end?

I really want to be able to turn on the lights, turn on the TV, and start cocomelon for my daughter on Netflix in the basement as a one stop script, but I apparently am not smart enough.

The other guy link is in Reddit so I'm not going to link it but it is really easy to find on Google: an NFC card system for Netflix.

Thanks!

"from scratch"

It's like a page worth of instructions you can follow verbatim excluding bootloader and network. If you watch one video of someone doing it to fill those gaps there is nothing to it.

Source: I watched Kai Hendry speed install arch, bookmarked the video and all my machines are now arch "from scratch" in 10 minutes or less of actual keyboard time.

You missed the part where you either sign in with your Microsoft account or cut your Internet, remove the webcam, fake your own death, and do the secret tap code in the bios to just have the OS without letting Microsoft into your butthole.
