Truly an antisocial, hyperatomized hellscape where it's next to impossible to meet people and make meaningful connections, and the apps aren't much better either. You have my condolences for living in Ottawa comrade 😔

I get that, I'm a nervous wreck when trying to talk to new people, so I usually just don't lol. The internet makes it easier, but only a little bit. I don't mind sarcasm though, and as for anime opinions, I'm not really sure what passes for good around here. I used to watch a lot of anime, but I haven't in a while, so I'm definitely not up to date on the most recent shows.

I would have challenged this two days ago but then I found out "Grimez" met Elon Musk on Lesswrong. I will level with you, meeting people off Discord, Reddit, and Twitter is feasible (or used to be for the latter ones). I am not happy to admit this. Why not activitypub? Or Matrix?
