I think it's fair to say we're now well into the age of AI-generated misinformation. Hopefully people aren't casting their vote based on internet photos.
Simply saying something is true is enough for Trump voters. They don’t need doctored evidence.
You're half correct.
If it's positive, it's true.
If it's negative, it's fake news.
Meta
That comment was so meta.
"Well into" as in no denying it. We are just seeing the start of its impact, though. I predict it's gonna be a rough decade on that front.
Ya misinformation sucks, but half of the people are below average intelligence. We need further laws to prevent the spread. The lawsuit against Fox was a good start
I feel sorry for the kids. Having to grow up into this. I'm so sorry. Most of us at least had a childhood that was still rooted in actual reality, not this fucked up hyperreality. They were born into it.
Look at the eyes and fingers - if something strikes you as wrong, take a working of wrought iron and shove it through your screen with haste
Unfortunately it adds up. Say a lie enough it becomes real kind of thing
Enjoy it while its clumsy and obvious.
This is probably their way of slowly inoculating us, soon they will perfect the fingers and other background details and AI will be indiscernable to the casual observer.
lol. Trump has flipper hands and that guy’s hat is total AI gibberish.
dat hand on the bottom left tho.
That nubbin.
Remember, this is the worst that AI will be from now on.
You’re right - everyone knows real trumpers would wear good old fashioned human gibberish hats.
Lol he’s the Penguin.
if nothing else, this is a dead giveaway
Lol also look at the fingers. One of what looks like should be his hand is clearly a woman's hand, and another has a mini finger and oddly shaped one
That could be just his actual finger tho
Even AI gave him tiny hands
Is that Cosby in the back with the Santa hat?
Rapists of a feather flock together
So it might be real after all. Huh.
Maybe? It also looks like Steve Harvey to his left
You can tell they’re fake by looking at his hands.
The algos struggle with tiny hands.
Unfortunately, as ControlNet (https://rentry.org/dummycontrolnet) gets better, it's going to get a whole lot harder to distinguish the fakes. It's already pretty good, but a lot of people don't use it regularly because it adds even more processing time to an already time consuming process. Faster hardware and better optimised code will cut that tiime down. The future is going to get messy.
Agreed.
But that’s no reason to not make fun of trump’s hands.
Too true!
Yeah one hand looks like a zoidberg claw but with a tiny dick for a pinky. The other has a massive coke nail. That one might be real.
Would be a shame if people made AI photos of Trump with brownshirt Nazis...
na-uh you are in the wrong hat, Trump hugging "commies" and holding a lgbtq flag would be the correct approach
Giving a trans kid a medal 🥇
I like the way you think. Maybe kissing another man?
There's already real video of Trump and Giuliani kissing and more than a few elected GOPs have drag photos. It's very much a rules for thee not for me type of thing.
RELEASE THE PEE TAPES
Wouldn't work anyway. He's been photographed with all kinds of terrible people in real life.
Yes, but has he been photographed performing a "satanic ritual?"
He'd never do anything that cool
Cool you say? "Cool" is the exact sort of thing Conservatives hate!
That'd excite his base
Ai generated images are always bad at fingers and complete gibberish when it text or words. Dead giveaway....
Trump supporters combined with the notion of any form of intelligence, artificial or not, is a contradiction.
