That is a pretty short dude.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
Rules
-
π Be Nice!
- Treat others with respect and dignity. Friendly banter is okay, as long as it is mutual; keyword: friendly.
-
ποΈ Community Standards
- Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.
- Posts should be safe and enjoyable by the majority of community members, both here on lemmy.world and other instances.
- Any comic that would qualify as raunchy, lewd, or otherwise draw unwanted attention by nosy coworkers, spouses, or family members should be tagged as NSFW.
- Moderators have final say on what and what does not qualify as appropriate. Use common sense, and if need be, err on the side of caution.
-
𧬠Keep it Real
- Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI. This is not the community for that sort of thing.
-
π½οΈ Credit Where Credit is Due
- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!
-
π Post Formatting
- Post an image, gallery, or link to a specific comic hosted on another site; e.g., the author's website.
- Meta posts about the community should be tagged with [Meta] either at the beginning or the end of the post title.
- When linking to a comic hosted on another site, ensure the link is to the comic itself and not just to the website; e.g.,
β Correct: https://xkcd.com/386/
β Incorrect: https://xkcd.com/
-
π¬ Post Frequency/SPAM
- Each user (regardless of instance) may post up to five (5 π) comics a day. This can be any combination of personal comics you have written yourself, or other author's comics. Any comics exceeding five (5 π) will be removed.
-
π΄ββ οΈ Internationalization (i18n)
- Non-English posts are welcome. Please tag the post title with the original language, and include an English translation in the body of the post; e.g.,
SΓ, por favor [Spanish/EspaΓ±ol]
- Non-English posts are welcome. Please tag the post title with the original language, and include an English translation in the body of the post; e.g.,

πΏ Moderation
- We are human, just like most everybody else on Lemmy. If you feel a moderation decision was made in error, you are welcome to reach out to anybody on the moderation team for clarification. Keep in mind that moderation decisions may be final.
- When reporting posts and/or comments, quote which rule is being broken, and why you feel it broke the rules.

My first thought was "does he have pointy breasts under the sheets? Or maybe some kind of... double erection?" Fortunately I realized they were feet pretty quickly.
He could use a hand towel as a blanket.
I was thinking he must be really rich to have such a lady.
I thought he hired an escort.
ah yes, two bumps in the blanket around what would normally be waist height and a dude who watches a chernobyl documentary before he goes to sleep. sure, he's short - let's go with that...
The reason Chernobyl is a great show to fall asleep with is the OST by Hildur GuΓ°nadΓ³ttir, best known for her Academy Award winning soundtrack to Joker.
A few seconds into Elevation and your brain is already well on its way to a different plane of existence.

Heβll never find out how an RBMK reactor core explodes βΉοΈ
No one will, because it can't happen.
Take him to the infirmary.
Fucking love that show, I need to rewatch it again
what? Chernobyl?
No, Short Man Tall Woman. The hilarious buddy cartoon comedy. Every Thursday night only on Fognl.
Yeah the HBO/SkyTV show ft Jared Harris and Stellen Skarsgard.
Futurama sleeping gang where we at?
I used to when it was easier to watch it on streaming without ads... As soon as I set up a media server and acquire it somehow, I'll be back in business!
I shuffle between Futurama, trek, and YouTube horror audio novellas
Zoidberg, soaking in brine!
I must have watched the series ten times through at this point.
Can we add Orville to this list?
No
My comfort show is a 10 hours long tier list by some youtuber with a considerably monotone voice and almost constant volume. Some day I'll discover what's at the middle of the tier list.
I recommend The Exploring Series. Guy also uploads to spotify
And wendigo. He's also really monotone
I'll second that, I have re-watched many of their videos to fall asleep to.
Iβve got to know: whereβs the video?
Number 13 , Hamburger foot lettuce....
Funniest shit I've seen in a while
Elder Cactus is the best out there if it's your sense of humor. I can't get enough of it.
Not great not terrible
Not great, not terrible.
Shit on it, RIP Paul Ritter
ASMR of people cooking in nature. NOT to be confused with ASMR of people eating.
I never had an issue with the sound of people eating until I fell asleep watching a game grumps video. I woke up to the sound of Danny eating a peanut butter sandwich in the mic. Ever since then I've become one of those people who get violently angry at the sounds of people eating.
just the thought of waking up to the sounds of a peanut butter sandwich upsets me greatly
Twas a dark day indeed.
"You will do it (with me) because... it must be done."
I think I'll stick to QI for now.
Klaxon noises
I love falling asleep to Chernobyl. My wife doesn't like it because bad vibes or something.
I think it's called ionizing radiation
My comfort show is uncensored AVGN compilations of every season.
Oh man, I've done that plenty of times. He yells a lot, but somehow it's relaxing.
A simpler time when humor wasn't so irony heavy.
