I was at school in the UK and they didn't even mention it to us, I only found out when I got home and turned the TV on. Honestly I doubt more than 2 or 3 people in the school learned before the school day finished, the only place to hear it from would have been the radios in the kitchen and staffroom.

There was definitely a group in my classes that thought the whole thing was very funny and took that position because it got rises and attention out of others. They were always the white problem children. I know two of them served time in prison for violent crimes.

I played so fucking much of gta2 demo. There was a trick where if you got the zaibatsu gang car that was a suped up roadster you could actually break the soft lock on the demo (a bomb strapped to your character that goes off after a few minutes) by going fast enough to outrun the explosion. I figured that out on my own on accident and felt like a genius hacker.

Still couldn't save your game but it let you play basically the whole game AFAIK as long as you didn't close the app.

i still remember 9/11 like it was just a few minutes ago. i came back to class after eating a healthy and balanced McDonald's Big Breakfast. suddenly, the Superintendent came on the announcements and told us all we were at war because of communist terrorism.

He played the audio of the planes crashing and my eyes and diaper welled up with hot piss.

That's when I heard a group of young boys laughing and celebrating. They were Chinese Communist androids with red lights for eyes.

I drove my work truck back to the garage after finishing one of the jobs I had that day. I think I was planning to eat lunch in the break room. Several guys I worked with were crowded around the tv and told me to come see what was happening. They were watching coverage of the first impact. I saw the second plane impact live. Then our boss came out of his office and yelled at us to get back to fucking work. No time off like Fartlow had. It was a crazy day.
