True but also, people are stupid/ easily confused and have a lot of trouble figuring out what you mean unless you use the "As In" description.
Source : I both take and make a lot of support calls. I'd say about 1 in 5 or so people can handle the NATO alphabet at a normal speaking speed.

I gave my nephew a book “p is for pterodactyl, the worst alphabet book ever” I think the adults liked it more than he did
Funnily enough, I learned something about the peace sign from this.
"I" should be "Isle".
Isn't the point that Ian sounds like it should start with an E, where Isle sounds like it should start with an I?
