Looks like it's part of the revenge campaign against MTG's revolt and crusade to release the Epstein files. Milo worked closely with her, and according to this (poorly sourced) article, Laura Loomer recently reported him for being in the country illegally:
Conservative activist Laura Loomer celebrated Yiannopoulos' detention on Friday.
“I was the first person to report on the fact that Milo was in the US illegally, where he incited violence against President Trump and worked for Marjorie Traitor Greene,” she wrote. “Recently, Candace Owens invited this illegal alien into her home. When Milo called for me to be assassinated, I reported him to ICE and the FBI. I told you all that Milo was an illegal alien.”
She added, “Milo is going to be deported back to the UK, where he can live among the Muslims he has recently chosen to embrace. Today is a great day for America.”
It's meant to strike fear into the fracturing GOP influencer base. Candance Owens is next on the list. Anyone else who worked for MTG is likely to become a target as well.

It's mainly because Loomer made him a target, and he has no protection within the administration after MTG's revolt. Plus, it's a shot across the bow to Candance Owens, who isn't playing ball either, but she's got too big an audience to fuck with directly... for now.
I have a feeling that her days are numbered given that she's been attacking Israel and Jews in general for longer than Bibi has been indicted.
They always try to fuck each other over in their crabs-in-bucket way, either trying to con their way to the top or destroy each other on the way down.

ICE is just trying to meet their insane daily arrest quota. They don't care whom the machine eats.
"Who" is grammatically correct there, as the subject of the phrase. "Whom" is an object.
No, the subject of the dependent clause is "the machine," which eats. Whom does the machine eat? The immigrants, of course!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day
Now he gets to experience the injustice he helped bring upon others. I hope he gets the full treatment of a long uncomfortable incarceration, in a cold cell, maggoty food, drinking toilet water, getting deathly ill with no medical treatment, living with people who don't speak English, but will quickly discover that he helped build this system that has destroyed their lives and families.
He's going to have a great time. I hope it lasts.
