Goddammit I'm in my kids bedroom waiting for them to fall asleep and you made me have to try really hard not to burst out into hard laughter. I don't know why this was so funny just now. 😂
God this guy is a cancerous tumor on this country (US). We still call it the Gulf of Mexico…this is another waste of time
This will last about as long as “freedom fries”.
I remember those times, that was popular for about a week lol
That wasn't an official order, that was some Fox News bullshit.
This will last as long as "Department of War," and "Gulf of America". Make of that what you will.
Ive now signed an executive order renaming Washington D.C to pissy pants cry cry baby land D.C
I expect this to be officially recognized as of now.
I still call the body of water between Mexico and the Southern US the "Gulf of Mexico". And I will continue to call the large lake north of New York State "Lake Ontario".
Trump can pass as many petty executive orders at he likes. They won't make a difference. Except to water time, effort, and money.
It’s like he thinks he’s punishing Canada.
The reason the lake (and the province, and the city in New York) is called Ontario is because that’s what it’s been called for the last thousand or so years.
All calling it “Lake America” does is shows the pompousness and ignorance of the person calling it that.
Of course, Canada should retaliate by renaming Lake Superior to it’s original name….
Yup; Anishinaabe Gichigami to be specific.
The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald starts playing
Superior is now Lac Au Canada then, fuck you
This accomplished so much. Canada must be trembling.
We're all running around in a panic, trying to figure out what on Earth to do now. How can we go on? Maybe, just possibly, exactly as before? Is it conceivable that we could just... ignore him?
It's spelled "Tremblay"
Lol sorry what a stupid joke

This pedo motherfucking shitstain. Let it rip Canada. Making me agree with goddamn Ford. Jesus fucking wept. Only silver lining i can think of is maybe this insanity hurts Constantino and Tenney enough in the midterms.
The American Ocean, and the US Ocean
Why is it still the District of Columbia and not the District of America?
Nevermind, he obviously doesn't know what DC stands for.
The day after someone tells him: "Did you know DC stands for District of Columbia? Nobody knew that."
Dude, shut the fuck up, don't want to give them any ideas!
Lock him up! Lock him up!
It’s going to be interesting to see how many aspects of American culture instantly revert go 2015 after this regime, or attempt to do so, anyway.
We can do that too!

Could have at least gone with Lake New York to stay on theme
He's a simpleton though and can only think in base terms. He's got no nuance.
Also, he hates New York.
haha yeah, that too.
I guess Canada adds a new term to the trade deal.
Actually surprised he hasn't slapped his name on literally everything, like the state names. Maybe start with Trumpexas, those salt of the earth cowboys love his orange ass down there.
How about the Canadians renaming the locks between the great lakes to "closed" in return?
I'm no longer surprised by this guy's idiocy. Nor by so many people not being able to recognize the obvious.
More performative bullshit from the orange ape spending time on (personally) gluing gold gewgaws to the White House.
MuCh wOw, sO WiNnInG. Because this totally makes an impact on the lives of everyday Americans and is not a pointless gesture only to stroke the ego of a deranged toddler-in-chief. Now let's sure we spend lots of money on new signage to reflect this new name change because that's critical infrastructure and this administration would never waste waste money on pointless things. Ya'know like stuff healthcare, supporting the power grid for anyone besides bloated data centers, road construction, wildfire prevention, etc...
Ontario CA we're coming for you next!
/s or not. Dont even know anymore.
