Just simple infrared distance sensors, like are on cheap cameras for focusing (or at least used to be), to see when you've stepped back, or stood up, so it doesn't flush on your wiener.
Sorry to tell you bud, but I worked in commercial building maintenance for a decade and those are definitely government funded dick cameras. Dicks have 10 times the amount of distinction markers as finger prints. It's the most accurate way to track someone.
