So when are yanks going to do something about him?

They won't. Americans are idiots.
They generally only protest when social media tells them to. And social media only tells them to protest when the President is someone the owners of social media don't like. They all like to cosplay as rebels, but really they're the most complacent people in the world.
People in general are allowing they're quality of life to be smudged, regardless of if they're American. There's a plastic island bigger than Texas in the Pacific, right? We're literally killing our environment because plastic is easier to ship groceries in than glass (etc)
You are doing these things. I do what I can to reduce carbon emissions and reduce waste. You could too, but you're told that it's fine for you to do nothing other than sit around complaining about other people on social media.
Doomerism is all about making you apathetic, why do you go along with it?
Who says I'm not doing things to address it, even if it won't amount to anything?
I'm responding to a thread that makes this seem like it's a deeply American problem. It's obvious that this isn't the only country that won't successfully push back against a decline. Our species needs to be able to organize better.
When all the other options have been exhausted
So sit on your asses and complain about the hecking orange CHEETO online with no end in sight. Got it
I was paraphrasing Churchill's quote "Americans will always do the right thing, only after they have tried everything else."
We’re set up as a “constitutional republic” with a senate that has disproportionate representation and no ability to recall anyone like your parliamentary system. We get stuck with elected officials for their full term and justices for life. We’ve suffered a coup where a minority party took power from the gerrymandering of districts. Yes, our system is stupidly designed and too many people buy into the “sanctity” of our constitution, when it could just be rewritten.
But that requires a convoluted process that an overwhelming majority of the states would have support.
Protesting in the streets does next to nothing against the entrenched fascist government. They don’t respect the law or the lives of people that oppose them.
If you’re hinting a violent revolution, that’s not happening unless there’s widespread starvation. Fear keeps people in check. Don’t forget about 30% of the population still love Trump. I don’t think a bunch of college kids are going to become guerrilla warriors against a sophisticated military with superior communication and satellite imagery at their command.
So people are frustrated and the only outlet most have is online. At least venting about it feels good. We’re mostly powerless to change here, unfortunately.
Our only chance for change is when the turd dies. Well, maybe. Trump is just a useful puppet for the heritage foundation, Israel and the corporate oligarchs. When one goes down, a hundred are ready to take his place .
Don’t worry though. In decades, climate change will disrupt the global food supply badly, people will blame their respective governments, and we’ll see mass violence and chaos. All civilizations eventually collapse.
Yeah the system as it is right now is basically set up that the only way anything changes is through some type of economic collapse. Personally I suspect that everything is set to fail in the US at this point but nothing has set off the powder keg.
The prior generations also war and geopolitical shifts that pushed Europe and America leftwards. Fascism devastated Europe and efforts were focused on dismantling and suppressing right wing elements. Additionally, you had the Soviet Union, which provided a counterbalance to Western capitalism, and many countries liberalized their governments for fears of communism taking over.
If China is able to carefully shift towards more traditional Marxist socialism, while preserving the integrity of their economy, they will become the new threat to the West, that once again turns the tide against the rightward shift towards fascism and ultracapitalism. We need a second surge towards communism in the world.
I guess "YouTuber uploads new video" isn't as attention grabbing but it feels more accurate. The guy's got a channel where he speculates on current events in politics and noteworthy criminal cases. He'll release another video about the signs of Trump's mental decline next week too, because he does one every week.
There was some guy who said that Trump was decompensating and would be dead in 6 months. Well over a year ago. They'll do or say anything for views.
Come on now. People kept saying all this sort of thing about Putin and he's still here. Hatred sustains them.
Unfortunately, I'm convinced Trump will live to be 102
Kissinger style
It's very funny to see Senators and Congressmen dropping like mayflies while the news fixates on a couple of guys who will likely live into the triple digits.
I don’t think Trump has 20 years, but he’ll probably live to forget to swallow like modern American Alzheimer’s patients are forced to do these days.
Alzheimer's care has come a long way. And presidents get access to the best health care in the world. Or, at least, they have historically. Idk wtf Trump has done to Walter Reed over the last ten years
We just watched a relative with plenty of money starve to death (actually it might have been dehydration that officially did it) because assisted suicide isn’t legal in our area, at least not for Alzheimer’s. It was early onset, and relatively fast progression, but hospice only drugged her so it hopefully wasn’t as uncomfortable.
Who the fuck cares? Stop wasting your time with meaningless nonsense.
Play the game of politics and learn how to beat him, or stfu. This is just big-D Democrat nonsense. The world is not an ideal fairy tale, this does not matter one iota unless his base cares, which they very obviously don't.
This dude's not a politician. He's presenting is professional opinions publicly about the leader of the US. Everyone should care about that. I for one love seeing posts like this. That he's doing is at some degree "playing the game of politics" because this person has specific skills, not as a politician, but he's using them to publicize a politicians state of being. You sound like you have a better road map for what this person should be doing instead. Care to elaborate on that?
No he's not, because actual medical professionals don't diagnose people at a distance.
The fact that he's claiming to while claiming he's a professional tells you that at least one of those two statements is false.
Dr. John Paul Garrison, a licensed forensic and clinical psychologist, certainly cares. This gets his name into the news....
Beating Trump is like killing a single cancer cell in a huge tumor.
K, but you know that cancer itself starts from a single cell right?
Trump isn't the root cause is what I'm getting at. I forget not everyone handles metaphors well.
How do you beat him
Competent marksman?

In the words of Kyle Gass, next time don’t miss.
As an outside observer, it looks like either Obama could have, it looks like Sanders could have, it looks like Mamdani could have.
Run a real candidate against him with a coherent political view that's not just a bunch of big D Democrat nonsense.
Just to take two options off the list: under the current state of the constitution, Obama can't run for a third term, and Mamdani is not eligible for the presidency (being foreign-born).
I think what he meant was get a competent candidate with proven work and concrete ideas, focus more on class war rather than race war
There's no need for armchair theorizing when we have a real mechanic system for making the best odds: it's called a primary and the DNC hasn't seen it necessary to use one in 20 years
agree! the last candidate they embraced was Obama. since then, the playbook has been "do something that the people are familiar with and lets call it a day" like a shitty disney live action reboot
They didn’t really embrace Obama either until it was clear he was going to beat Clinton
With a piece of rusty rebar?
who specializes in body language
Yeah, but can we ask a phrenologist for a second opinion?
As they say, only the good die young.
Is this dr. G? I’ve been blocking his stuff from yt since forever and now I’m exposed to him here.
He can get WORSE???
