Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.

Play the game of politics and learn how to beat him, or stfu. This is just big-D Democrat nonsense. The world is not an ideal fairy tale, this does not matter one iota unless his base cares, which they very obviously don't.
This dude's not a politician. He's presenting is professional opinions publicly about the leader of the US. Everyone should care about that. I for one love seeing posts like this. That he's doing is at some degree "playing the game of politics" because this person has specific skills, not as a politician, but he's using them to publicize a politicians state of being. You sound like you have a better road map for what this person should be doing instead. Care to elaborate on that?

As an outside observer, it looks like either Obama could have, it looks like Sanders could have, it looks like Mamdani could have.
Run a real candidate against him with a coherent political view that's not just a bunch of big D Democrat nonsense.
Just to take two options off the list: under the current state of the constitution, Obama can't run for a third term, and Mamdani is not eligible for the presidency (being foreign-born).
I think what he meant was get a competent candidate with proven work and concrete ideas, focus more on class war rather than race war
There's no need for armchair theorizing when we have a real mechanic system for making the best odds: it's called a primary and the DNC hasn't seen it necessary to use one in 20 years

I was always registered 'no party' but I registered Democrat just so I could vote against her in the primary. I am once again registered 'no party'. I did hold my nose and vote for her when she ran against Trump.
