I feel like letting an AI do the work for you is robbing you of time you could've spent doing it yourself. it's a game at the end of the day, and if I'm passing time not even playing it myself, why don't I just save the money and just watch a playthrough online?

the grind and looking up how to do something myself is part of the fun. if something is so grindy I gotta let someone or something do it for me, why am I even here wasting my most valuable resource, you know?

I guess what I am trying to get across in my original comment (poorly lol) is the fact that you don't have to have a lot more computational power to make good art, you just need a good vision to make people feel positive emotions when playing a game.

it's what a lot of these HD remakes today are missing. the most recent example I can think of is the remaster of the first gears of war game: all the darkness and grit in the campaign was simply deleted

I was walking with a couple of friends at night in Pennsylvania. there was this absolutely GIGANTIC insect that was in the shape of a moth.

it was like 3 feet large and we couldn't get a clear picture of it since it was so dark, I figured it was a shadow being casted by a light somewhere else.

that was when, all of a sudden, the "shadow" started to fly up! all 3 of us just ran away... that happened like 15 years ago, now I want to research gigantic insects in the shape of a moth lol
