badposting is a comm where you post badly

This is not a !the_dunk_tank@hexbear.net alternative. This is not a !memes@hexbear.net alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Rules:

  1. Do not post good posts.
    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
    • Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
  2. This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
  3. This rule intentionally left blank.
  4. If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

every fantasy setting with necromancy needs to give me a really good reason why skeletons aren't being used to automate all labor

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 9 points 2 days ago

Wow so even when I'm dead I can't escape capitalism

[–] CrawlMarks@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Fantasy liberalism. It is. Cheaper to poorly pay a worker than to automate a process with a trained mechanical necromancer

[–] orlando@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago

look at this bourgeois pos over here. slaver. seize the means of ressurection!

[–] SoyViking@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago

Because of woke. Nobody wants to work anymore, not even skeletons.

[–] BattleshipPokemon@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago

Anbennar does this, the souls of the dead are in perpetual agony as slaves and the country run by necromancers is like mega Hitler

[–] Horse@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 days ago (2 children)

probably because their loved ones corpses being puppeted around to make doo-dads and harvest wheat would upset people

that's why they said skeletons, you flay off all the flesh and give the bones a good bleach and nobody's recognizing anybody

This reason rapidly declines the more long lived the species in question is.

Marxists are more into ghosts.

Skeletons are a capitalist construct designed by Big cow to sell you more milk

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

kitty-cri-screm The capitalists are constructing skeletons?!

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago

The workers are constructing skeletons, comrade.

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I have never seen my own skeleton so I question whether it is actually there

[–] CrawlMarks@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

I had a gardening accident, I can confirm I possess at least one bone.

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 3 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

We'll know for sure after the next correction whether it is fictitious calcium

[–] CrawlMarks@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The moves if skeletons are managed by dialectic forces. You have muscles thst act. You have oposing muscle thst react. It is through the combination of these forces that your motion is produced

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago

anakin-padme-1 Is that why they have been called the immortal dialectics? Those who master them could... control a skeleton?

[–] Dort_Owl@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] SockOlm@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago

and then they do that nasal laugh like nyehehehe they don't even have noses wtf

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Some weirdos think there is a skeleton hiding in everyone of us. Can you imagine?

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 5 points 3 days ago

I know we're supposed to be materialists who seek truths from facts, but I'm too terrified to get to the bottom of this. What if, at the bottom, theres a... coffin? niko-wtf

[–] 7bicycles@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

There is. Saw one trying to escape once, wasn't great

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

There is? Then how do you explain this? floppy-owl

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

User self reporting as owl

Army of Darkness is a documentary. Few know this

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 2 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

That means skeletons have been defeated at least once!sweat We can do this!

[–] 9to5@hexbear.net 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Army of Darkness is such a good movie. Not talking about high art. But its just a legit fun movie despite its age.

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago

There's so many lines that became everyday catchphrases you don't realize that's where they came from.

[–] uSSRI@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

They make great xylophones

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago

I turn off a movie if I hear xylophones, that means skeletons might be coming

[–] micnd90@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Inside you and me there's a smiling skeleton, literally

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

Skeletons aren't real. They can't be! You're...you're confusing me! tetsuo-brainrot

[–] BettercallMao@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

Currently we are all animated skeletons.

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

No... that's not true. It's IMPOSSIBLE! battler-cry

[–] cattish@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago

I don't know about you, but I feel rather more live-action

[–] Krinkil2705@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Bougie doctors put them inside the newborns to steal their calciums and magnesiums. We must get liberated from this capitalist psy-op!!

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

You mean the true agenda of the Kids Improved Not Decalicified (KIND) Act was actually to decalcify our kids and build a skeleton army?? not-built-for-this

[–] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

bit idea: trying to "decalcify your pineal gland" by drinking a whole lot of coke

[–] ChatPPB@hexbear.net 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I'm not interested in a skeleton.

[–] LeonTreatsky@hexbear.net 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Bones are an instrument of the bourgeoisie, used to extract physical labour from workers. We must build a classless, moneyless, boneless society.

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago

Fuck. So on top of everything else, porkies are sending skeletons to our beds during the witching hour to graft horrid bones to our innocent flesh as we sleep to make machines of us walter-breakdown

did you know there's a spooky skeleton inside of you? let it out!

[–] Champoloo@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Conditional on the existence of closets

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 3 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

B-but my apartment has a closet, and I can't find a way to lock it shut...! You're telling me my apartment was deliberately designed to create skeletons but not keep them contained?! no-no-no-wait-wait-wait
