He’s right!
…worse is different…

Yeah, Obama's Iran deal didn't involve giving them $300B in war reparations.

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 32 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Well, yeah. Obama's deal didn't cost anything, or kill anyone.

It also improved on the status quo. Trump's made it far worse.

Besides an Epstein distraction and a favor for Netanyahu and the oil producers, I wonder how much of this murderous idiocy was was due to Trump's inferiority complex about Obama?

[–] sbbq@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 days ago

Also worth considering that Trump has had it out for Iran for like 40 years.

[–] Ludicrous0251@piefed.zip 41 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I mean, it seems like we're gonna be paying them fuckloads of money to do the same thing they were doing, so that's new I guess.

Yes, but this time there is no checks in nuclear. That will be decided later. They gave given their word there will be no nukes.

Strange, israel and the usa didnt believe them before when they said the same thing.

In fact, thats why there were checks, through the UN, which trump has messed up relations with, too. Its all so predictable and so incompetent.

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (2 children)

If Iran wanted to have nukes they would have them by now. Their nuclear program was started in 1957. They have been enriching uranium for decades and yet no weapon. Now since Trump fucked them over so hard they may just reconsider.

[–] evenglow@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Trump just bombed the guy that had a fatwa against nuclear bombs.

[–] davepleasebehave@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

it's truly the only way to be safe for them now.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 7 points 3 days ago

israel and the usa didnt believe them before when they said the same thing.

There were international inspections. The US and Israel knew that there were no nukes.

LOL, the Faux News personality is right.

Just not in the way he thinks he is....

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 19 points 3 days ago

Yes, it's much, much worse

[–] halcyoncmdr@piefed.social 16 points 3 days ago

Of course it is.

This time we're paying them $300 Billion... and they don't really have any requirements to follow.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago

Well, it is. It is so much worse, it is worth to remind his voters about this every day.

[–] Headofthebored@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

The only question is, did they learn anything?

[–] kurmudgeon@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, it's Obama's plan, plus we gave Iran $300 billion as a nice little cherry on top, because Trump is a collosal fucking moron.

[–] halfapage@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

I feel another fifa peace prize coming~! :))

[–] homes@piefed.world 10 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, it’s much much worse than the deal Obama made

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 days ago

Everything that involves Trump is far inferior to what Obama is or did.

And that's despite the fact that Obama was a president of only modest achievements. All it would have taken Trump is to not fuck up, and not to be fat, stupid, demented and crass.

[–] Hayduke@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

That is accurate.
