Phil Collins is an English singer, drummer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He was the drummer and later became the lead singer of the rock band Genesis and had a successful solo career, achieving three UK number-one singles and seven US number-one singles as a solo artist.

I can confidently say that there is nothing in her discography where she is driving. There are some where she is the passenger though.

One of the greatest ads of all time. But it's a minute and a half! Nobody is going to watch that!

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I will watch it. So many times over so many years.

The absolute best version of this song being the extended single.

It used to get radio play:

Well, there's an argument for letting the drummer have creative control :)

Thanks, now on my soulseek FLAC list,

Fair warning, it'll give your subwoofers a workout.

That was awful. The original was well-paced and well-balanced. This just had a relentless disco groove, and even used the iconic drum fill twice. It was hypnotic, but not nearly as good as the original version.
