CW: racism, awful shit

There is a sense of the acronym "DNB" being used to refer to racist child gore shock content, which stands for dead + (hard-r) + baby.

Something like that should be documented as a definition, because for example if you see someone talking about how they "spammed DNB in someone's DMs" then you need to be highly aware of what they are referring to.

It's an abbreviaton used in O9A adjacent spaces for racist gore of children

[–] Nopeace@hexbear.net 3 points 15 hours ago

Ah that's is... Much more disturbing but makes much more sense in the context

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he was horrified by “an apparent act of anti-Muslim violence.”

I like how they dropped this right in the middle of the article, with no context before or after.

"Also some other city's mayor said that hate crimes are bad. We asked him for, um, reasons." us-foreign-policy

[–] kristina@hexbear.net 16 points 1 day ago

Why are they asking him, he's on the other side of the country lmao. Is he the speaker for all Muslims now??

Where the hell does one even get an SS gas can? Is there a chain of truck stops somewhere in the Midwest called Naz-ee's?

Investigators are examining possible anti-Islamic writings found in the teens’ car, two senior law enforcement officials said.

Can't wait for the "two very good boys, who mommy and daddy loved very much, gentle types that loved ice cream and the beach, tragically led awry" articles

how much would you guess this is O9A/764 linked?

[–] Azarova@hexbear.net 11 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I think the more unsettling answer is that a lot of these incidents aren't directly linked to O9A/764/Terrorgram etc, but rather now things have progressed to a point where a lot of far-right spaces online are downstream from those internet "cultures", for lack of a better phase. In other words, the average fascist on X, The Everything App™, is mainlining agitation to do lone wolf mass terrorism straight into their brain without ever directly interacting with those groups. I have an unhealthy habit of occasionally lurking through nazi twitter profiles and those freaks fedpost constantly.

somewhere around 82% is there a polymarket for it?

[–] CommCat@hexbear.net 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

from unconfirmed pics of the perpetrators, looks like more non-white neo-nazis?

[–] SickSemper@hexbear.net 7 points 1 day ago

Given the writing/drawing on the guns, 100%. It doesn’t matter if they were directly in contact w any o9a folks; this incident is up the the gills in their ideology

I'll have you know that it's just an old rune that means "Protection Squadron" so there's nothing to see here, just people celebrating their heritage, living their best lives. Blessed. 🙏🏻

[–] hotcouchguy@hexbear.net 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Thought those were traditional fuel runes

[–] Speaker@hexbear.net 4 points 1 day ago

These colors don't rune!

[–] ourtimewillcome@hexbear.net 14 points 1 day ago

the way western media treats the perpetrator of this crime in contrast to someone who, say, shot up a synagogue, truely shows, how normalized it is in the west to just not consider certain populations as human.

[–] SpicyLizards@reddthat.com 3 points 23 hours ago

Don't mix lightning and fuel! Especially not double lightning!!

[–] hellinkilla@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago

ADL counting adding all the victims to their spreadsheet of people terrorized by anti semitism and holocaust glorification. And at a place of religious worship!

Later the numbers get used to agitate for passing laws that people can't protest near synagogues.

Wow. Not even a Wehrmacht-Einheitskanister. What a poser disgost
