The dem gov bringing the heat! Just kidding. She actually said "vote harder".

“I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.”

we — the voters — will have the final say.

What a statement to make immediately after we — the voters — quite literally did not have the final say

neither party works for us we need a new one

how dare you insult the scared dems || well how are you gonna have that happen, it's a 2 party system dummy || what do you think voting won't actually fix anything || wait what do you mean the dems don't want to fix anything

Rinse and repeat thoroughly

Edit, it's just this in real time https://lemmy.world/post/46484764

Every DNC shill in that thread deserves to be stabbed by a Palestinian, who then say "A republican would have shot you."

Like this one who's pro dem but also fully acknowledges they're useless?

Even democrats are still far too left-wing for the owners.

Even democrats can’t get away with shit. They do one based thing and oops, laws only apply to those to the left on Hitler.

And - as usual - the dems got nothin'. Check this out - https://hexbear.net/comment/7154553

Every day I curse myself for not being a chud. Must be nice to have nothing but good days.

Their media and brains are hardwired to make them as unhappy as possible because they don’t actually want what they’re winning.

We should be glad we’re not consigned to such a miserably contradictory existence.

I saw this Bluesky post...

virginia voters should call their delegates and senators and demand that they ignore this illegitimate ruling

...and I had no idea what it was. Bluesky fuckers never post links even if the news broke 10 minutes ago. You need to be cool enough to already know. When I googled - I actually laughed at the headline I found: "Virginia Supreme Court strikes down redistricting referendum approved by voters in special election." I added a bit for context.

Good news: liberals finally realize that laws aren’t real and you can do whatever you want

Bad news: they still think the solution is to scream at an intern who doesn’t give a shit what you think

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Or vote. But mostly yell at staff or voicemails until they get that chance to vote

[–] AvocadoVapelung@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago

calling up the board of elections and screeching at the clerk to supercharge my vote

Vagueposting should be a punishable offense

I stopped asking question there. People ignore randos. If the vagueness clearly refers to news and/or hopeless-and-funny lib shit - I'll google it. The worst is when they post something like "That's just what one of their judges would say." I have to stifle my natural sense of curiosity. It's probably some highly technical inside baseball shit for lib law nerds.
