beavers are such excellent creatures. Imagine being a 100lb semi aquatic rat that eats trees and does hydraulic engineering for fun

and that has teeth hardened with iron. this is why beaver teeth are orange in color. they also happen to eat the trees in a way that makes it easy for them to sprout again and also their hydraulic engineering creates entire ecosystems that are incredibly rich in biodiversity
