"Would you like no measles, or instead would you like measles?" asked mother earth.

weak measlets now as a treat for your immune system, or would you like to wait for big measles later?

[–] Collatz_problem@hexbear.net 1 points 4 days ago

Yes, we had first measles, but what about second measles? second-breakfast

[–] ClassIsOver@hexbear.net 14 points 5 days ago

Well yes, they decided to vaccinate with measles instead of against it.

I would argue that the most insidious word in this headline is “shield” because it uncritically grants that there’s something to be protected against.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 5 points 5 days ago

In retrospect I should made my title something like "Look at this shit!" Or "Look at this shit! Shield??? Instead???"

try "so"

or if you are feeling uncharitable, "obviously"

~~instead~~ That's Why They Got Measles

I have family from this area that I have not been on speaking terms with for about a decade. You will never guess why!

i can see the confusion. vaccines are demonic. measles come from lord christ jesus. the fever and brain swelling is because angels are blessing the children.

this was all explained thoroughly in my Biology class at Arcadia Tire and Bible College of Greenville, SC.

Always blows my mind that most people would rather have a dead child than an autistic one (even though vaccines don't cause autism).

I'm not going to be too harsh on this because they probably thought this sounded very clever or funny

Nothing good has ever come from the "parents' rights" movement

Embrace hymenopteran thought, the wellbeing of children is everyone's concern 🐜🐜🐜
