Hi, I want something to copy+paste to people about how Israel doesn't control the United States. I know they're a vassal state, but trying to explain that every time and on a phone screen is getting tiring. Does something like this already exist? Or would some incredible person(s) wanna make one?

Thanks in advance and if this is posted in the wrong place let me know.

It just turns into a boring semantic argument about what "controls" means. The relationship is emphatically not a one-way vassal thing like the party line was on the western left until, say, mid-2024. None of us really anticipated how thoroughly liberal institutions had been captured by zionists until our friends were pinned down on the college quad being tased repeatedly by thugs and people were fired en masse for the mildest criticism of indiscriminate slaughter.

You are getting tired of trying to explain something because the thing you're trying to explain isn't true. It was true at one time, and no longer is. Things change, the tail wags the dog. Miriam Adelson is not giving Trump hundreds of millions of dollars and getting zero influence in return. Epstein didn't run an elite pedophile blackmail operation for no reason. Chuck Schumer, leader of the opposition party in the senate, states that his job is to "keep the left pro-Israel". Elected democrats are on the wrong side of an 80/20 issue with their base because of AIPAC and associated orgs giving them unbelievable amounts of money. Rubio and other sources said yesterday that Israel was the driving force for the US attacking Iran.

Remember, arabs and muslims have been raising this alarm for decades and being called conspiratorial and anti-semites by the western left the whole time. Anybody who questioned 9/11's official story was mocked, despite tons of weird discrepancies and circumstantial evidence of Mossad involvement. Cui bono argument fingers the entity, but the leftists wouldn't see it - instead hedging to the official "approved" liberal story with some caveats to differentiate themselves regarding "blowback"

Then when ISIS emerged and grew out of control, again arabs in the region were mocked and called conspiratorial when they showed how ISIS was US/Israeli backed and funded and created. Again, the "reasonable" adults in the room leftists of the west assured us that the US merely "created a vacuum" that allowed ISIS to thrive, despite all evidence to the contrary that the US was actively backing them.

Giving Israel all the power is just "Global Jewry" antisemitism repackaged for a new audience.

Please just shut up for fucks sake, i'm done with your concern trolling

An antisemitic belief existing does not interfere with physical material reality to prevent something resembling that belief from coming into being.

Really makes you wonder though, all these vassal states that are arab monarchies, why keep "israel" propped up when they're the ones sowing division amongst them?

The US very well could do without isntreal, but they don't. That's what's confusing to me.

Thank you for explaining this in a way I could never

The tail can't wag the dog. That's not how materialism works.

[–] puppygirlpets@hexbear.net 8 points 1 month ago

this is a thought terminating cliche devoid of material analysis

Does all of Israel's lobbying and spying and blackmail not have any policy ramifications?

[–] CatoPosting@hexbear.net 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Why have those things not been countered by our own much better funded spying apparatus?

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

because the deep state doesn't care about Jamal Bowman's congressional seat.

[–] CatoPosting@hexbear.net 1 points 1 month ago

But it doesn't care about its money and resources being wasted against its interest for a foreign power thinkin-lenin

Arguing about the meaning of metaphors is not materialism.

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but the first thing I think of is always this famous clip of Biden laying out part of it very plainly:

Andreas Malm has a great response to the argument the Israel lobby controls the united states: https://archive.org/details/the-destruction-of-palestine-is-the-destruction-of-the-earth/page/n73/mode/1up

This doesn't feel like the best time to be trying to make that argument lol
