The culturally normal thing is that my family, friends, colleagues and strangers all treat me like the woman I am and no one is losing their mind when I use the women's toilet.
Somebody here said something like, "Can't wait for libs to tell me I'm responsible for a Vance presidency because I refuse to vote for this ghoul." I think about that every time he opens his mouth. Can't wait for all the milquetoast liberal pushback against Newsom's despicable rhetoric to melt away into "Blue no matter who" the minute he is coronated by the plutocracy.
I have an inkling of hope that we won’t see a repeat of that narrative, especially if we’re dealing with poocum newsom. Chuck and Jeffies have really dropped the ball in terms of being an effective controlled opposition IMO the average lib has finally lost faith in democrats.
We’ll still see all those libs go “welp I guess I gotta vote for this guy” because they can’t fathom a nonbinary decision but I think the vitriol towards those who can’t stand the dem candidate will be much lower than it was for Kamala (blue sky not included)

Okay, the idea that every single person that vote republican must be some some secret fascist is somewhat wrong, from my perspective it is at least. Don't get me wrong here, I know people that absolutely do vote like that because they are some of the worst human beings in existence. But there is something that so many of you just don't understand. For context, I live in pretty much middle of nowhere rural ohio.
The quickest way I can put this since I'm typing this up during break at work, is that a lot of you have no clue just how insufferable the mildest american liberal is if they got dropped in out here.
I don't remember a Democrat mentioning LGBT issues since Biden said there were at least 3 genders. Are they talking about their most popular AOC and Mamdandi or something? They don't want to soullessly emulate the people who get votes?
Technically they do want to soullessly emulate the people who get votes. They saw how Mamdani got elected on emphasizing affordability issues and now Newsome and his ilk want to glom onto that messaging without actually offering actual solutions to those issues.
There's a bitter humor in "okay, Mamdani got traction with affordability rhetoric... Let's see..."
