Rules (interactive)

Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.

All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.

Rule 2- Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material.

Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.

Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here. This includes using AI responses and summaries.

I want to get some cool stickers to decorate my laptop but i've never known where to find them. can y'all give me some tips? I have heard that you can get a lot of cool ones at conventions, but with the nearest convention center being a four hour drive I would rather not. The two websites I know with cool stickers are https://mushroomy.house/ and https://www.redbubble.com/shop/stickers

Stickers are a form of virtue signaling. Invest in that place/ event/ product and enjoy your free sticker/ self advertising. If you want something personal, invest in an old cricket cutter and create your own design. You can also talk to people who have crickets and ask them/ rent them. "Cool" is defined by you. Put whatever you want on your water bottle.

Hey guys anyone know where I can buy some cool stuff? Nah I'm not interested in defining the word cool and what it means to me, you figure it out

Temu.

Temu is great for small things like pins and stickers. Going to a convention just to go through all the trouble for a sticker, doesn't sound worth it.

Try visiting your local makerspace and see if any of the local people are making cool stickers on the cricut.

Curious no one mentioned https://www.stickermule.com/unixstickers which is where I got the stickers for my current laptop.

Since going political in a big public way in July, Constantino has posted a steady stream of pro-Trump content on the company’s social media pages, including a statement after the most recent assassination attempt against Trump in September.

In that post, Constantino called on Hillary Clinton to apologize for calling Trump voters deplorables, and Joe Biden to apologize for the “Fine People Hoax.”

“The sooner people come forward and issue statements to apologize for and explain that they provoked anti-Trump hate on false pretenses, often for their own benefit, the faster we’ll fix the problem and have a happier USA and world,” Constantino wrote, after reeling off a long list of celebrities he said should apologize to Trump.

At the beginning of September, Sticker Mule also released an official Sticker Mule endorsement, writing that Trump is the “max global happiness President.”

Stickers of what? Because that matters. Etsy and Redbubble have a lot so you’re halfway there. Amazon has them but a lot of that is stolen art. Cheaper but also cheaper sticker material that won’t hold up. They’re trying to maximize profit after all. On the other two you’re typically buying from the artist.

I'm on redbuble. Getting paid from redbuble is a process. They give you hellofresh coupons unless you have a PayPal account and you give them your visa number. I said fuck that and put the overhead to the lowest it goes. I buy a lot of stickers from myself (like hundreds, I have reasons) and it says I've missed out on $15 so far. The artists aren't getting fuck all. Good stickers though.

[–] hexagonwin@lemmy.today 9 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

you can get some from FOSS conferences, printing them out yourself is also not bad.

[–] trxxruraxvr@lemmy.world 4 points 14 hours ago

I was going to say, you just missed FOSDEM

Skate shops. Skateboard companies make a lot of cool stickers.

The hottest milfs always have a rad sticker collection

qwertee.com has great t-sirt designs, but many can also be bought as stickers!

[–] Nusm@peachpie.theatl.social 3 points 10 hours ago

There’s some cool stuff there! I could spend a fortune on t-shirts and stickers that I don’t really need.

[–] CombatWombatEsq@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

If you’re a drinker, usually breweries and meaderies have good ones. Also, outdoor brands, like ski and surf companies. In a pinch, your nearest hipster bait shop probably has some way over-priced ones.

[–] Beacon@fedia.io 1 points 12 hours ago

Literally just type "stickers" into your searchbar

[–] Little8Lost@lemmy.world 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

If you want to make them yourself you could get etticett sticker paper, drint or draw on it, laminate it and cut it out.

Else you could try to find stickers online. Either a service that makes them for you or premade ones, preferrable from artists or "communities".

As an example a german (has some english, nonlingual stuff) *tech community shop" site where the people running it try to influence politics in a way i like (against mass survailance,...) https://shop.digitalcourage.de/digitalcourage-und-ccc-aufkleber/

[–] HerbalGamer@sh.itjust.works 3 points 11 hours ago
