The amazing thing about Google is that they made a very good model, but they just hid it in a separate app with a horrible UX that you need to download on your own (also the only way to check if images were generated by Google AI). Only Google could make a SOTA model but market it so poorly that the only thing people think you do is a 1.5b model that nobody asked for.
The one on google search is only 1.5?!? No fucking wonder it's aids.
I don't know what it is because the information isn't public, but it is super small based on how often it runs and how bad it is.

because my phone has some bullshit apps that seem to be some AI shit but i've never touched them, nor read any explanation for what the apps do. like thanks google for pre-installing "notebookLM" and not explaining what it is whatsoever
Gemini is the app, and Gemini 3 pro is the model you need to select. NotebookLM is a research tool and podcast generation suite that was big a year or two ago. Then there's labs.google where they put all the projects they will inevitably kill off soon.

There's a lot of slop and it was all canon until Disney gave it the axe. There's a whole book about Darth Vader's left glove because we needed to know how he blocked Han's blaster shot with his palm.

Well, the children of that relationship having a dalliance, and then the daughter having a romance with someone she isn't related to, and then them producing a Sith Lord whose own plot largely revolves around being horny I guess is the main thing.
