Why is water still frozen at a temperature below it's melting point? Truly the kind of questions science can't answer.

Who or what will Candace Owens blame for this? The Jews, the CIA or Mossad, chemtrails, HAARP, or something else?

Elite French hit squad uses wide-range energy weapon to kill Candace Owens via hypothermia, disguises it as an accident through the deaths of many others

critical support to the fr*nch

[–] micnd90@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I support Candace, it's funnier if she wins this beef vs. the Macrons. Candace is just a harmless shitposter. Macron actually ruins people's lives.

[–] Runcible@hexbear.net 12 points 2 days ago

she is definitely not harmless.

In all fairness, sometimes ice does melt outside when the ambient temperature is around 30 because the sun can heat up surfaces it lights, so the actual temperature of those things can be over 32

Candace Owens is anti-ICE

[–] FloridaBoi@hexbear.net 11 points 2 days ago

She’s genuinely an idiot right?

Further proof that we need robust public education in America and less fucking TikTok.

I stg every time a weather event happens here, the local social media pages are full of comments about directed energy weapons, HAARP and/or chemtrails. Like there can't just be a storm anymore, it's always some shady organization causing it.

[–] buckykat@hexbear.net 12 points 2 days ago

There is a shady organization causing storms to be more intense, though: capitalism, and specifically the fossil fuels industry.

Connecticut is ranked 2nd in public education, one of the supposedly smartest and richest state

Jesus take the wheel

[–] Euergetes@hexbear.net 17 points 3 days ago

the french have infiltrated her head replacing her understanding of temperatures with Centigrade, but all her devices are still calibrated to F!

devilish Macron treachery!

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 14 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Wait, ice freezes at 32° F right? I'm not from the USA and even I know that

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 10 points 3 days ago (3 children)

*Water freezes don't fucking correct me isrg

[–] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Steam uhh deposits (I suck at chemistry stuff) into ice at maybe 32F and the right pressure conditions.

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I think it's either sublimation or the other one

[–] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Sublimation is solid -> gas, like dry ice does at avg room temp/pressure. Somehow that's the one I actually remember lol

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ah yes I see, so it's the other one doggirl-smart

[–] purpleworm@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

Apparently it's called deposition, so he was correct. Also "desublimation," allegedly.

[–] buckykat@hexbear.net 3 points 2 days ago

The phase diagram for water is fuckin weird

[–] Kefla@hexbear.net 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Ice is water is ice, no correction to be made doggirl-thumbsup

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 7 points 3 days ago

No ice in my water please it makes my teeth hurt doggirl-cry

[–] RedDawn@hexbear.net 10 points 3 days ago

Funny that she doesn’t know the melting point of water. I bet the ice she’s seeing is rime ice, it is very cool looking and impactful.

[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

It's not 30c silly.
