Viewing "having a girlfriend" as success is rough.
I realized recently that even with the rise of feminism, finding a husband, is still measured as a point of success.
I think it is more of a statement that we are lonely and finding something or someone that makes you feel less so... Is a win.
it's certainly a kind of social success
I really, truly, deeply wonder why he has trouble finding a partner
I could be wrong but I think I recall him saying he's never been actively looking or actually cares, and this is just an ongoing bit.
serial killers get loveletters, you'd think somebody's freakiness would match up with weeb drag
Maybe it had something to do with the "MILF" in the background?
I have a heart that has been defiled by greed perchance as a byproduct of capitalism. In that heart is the earnest belief that his level of fame should supersede the weirdness that causes friction in people wanting to know you.
What I mean is that I think he's famous enough to find the potential girlfriend of a gamer-weeb. To me that's important because I think he's well past the EV of one (1) gf. It makes me think something is happening behind the scenes. He should be able to be unlimited weird, look as he does, be as inexperienced as one might assume, and find someone. It indicates to me:
dishonesty - maybe he gets it in, hangs out with people, and LIES on the INTERNET
willful disregard of chances - ignoring DMs, not giving people a chance, prioritizing the Internet persona, not accepting advice/interference
or saliently
didn't he say he wasn't actively looking for a gf or something?
The funniest twist is if it turns out the dude is gay and is happily in a relationship with another dude.
Unrealistic standards might be another possibility.
