Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). This just means they're going to bring their war against America to other cities. Prepare by organizing your neighborhood. That means a local signal chat, explanations of how to respond to short and long whistle blasts, and preparation to get people to respond on a moment's notice

It would be best if they left earth

Call your rep and senators and ask that ICE and the Border Patrol be prosecuted for levying war against the United States. Point out their armament, military-style uniforms, and propensity to shoot people.

I don't expect success quickly, but it's in the realm of possibility

I hear the sun is nice this time of year

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 3 points 2 days ago

"Telephone call? Telephone call? That's communication with the outside world. Doctor's discretion. Nuh-uh. Look, hey. If all of these nuts could just make phone calls, they could spread insanity, oozing through telephone cables, oozing into the ears of all these poor sane people, infecting them. Wackos everywhere, a plague of madness. In fact, very few, very few of us here are actually mentally ill. I'm not saying you're not mentally ill, for all I know, you're crazy as a loon. But that's not why you're here. That's not why you're here. That's not why you're here! You're here because of the system."

It's actually very hard to launch dome thing near the sun, let alone into the sun.

Far better for the planet to just bury them in soft peat for 3 months and recycle them as firelighters.

Practical and fun!

FYI, the official White House statement on this is, it's the sanctuary city's fault that ICE murdered those people.

Baghdad Barbie.

Yeah, Todd Flintstone, Trump's lawyer, that guy that's Fred's uglier, stupider, and more violent younger brother, was on TV Sunday morning, blaming it all on Minnesota not letting their law enforcement support ICE. That's why this happened, it's all the Mayor's and the Governor's fault.

There are 3000 ICE Apes in Minneapolis, and the police department has 600 officers. Why can't a massive force of 3000 protect themselves? Why do they need 600 cops to protect them?

Or maybe they just want scapegoats to blame their murders on. Turns out, they'll blame the cops anyway.

Be a lot cooler if they couldn't leave because they'd been arrested for participating in organized kidnapping and murder.

[–] bytesonbike@discuss.online 4 points 1 day ago

This is pretty much the Jan 6 slap on the wrist all over again.

They should be in handcuffs.

How does one respond to short and long whistle blasts ?

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 16 points 2 days ago

If you're a citizen, you show up. Fast. Short blasts means they're present. Long ones mean they're actively trying to grab somebody. So be prepared to follow with a bike or car until they leave the neighborhood on short.

The idea is to create a crowd substantially larger than the ICE snatch team. This tends to deter them from acting. You record them if you can.

"Controversial".

Say "controversial" one more goddamned time...

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 day ago

Some agents. Unless it’s all agents, they can fuck right off with this nonsense.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 6 points 1 day ago

Gotta keep rotating the Death Squads, before they start murdering the local prostitutes.

[–] sik0fewl@piefed.ca 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Maybe they'll go back to the border.

[–] WHARRGARBL@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Apparently DHS has Border Patrol agents deploying from their stations to target select cities for one-month rotations.

The current crop of Minnesota murderers haven’t been deterred at all; they are at the end of their assigned 30-day killing spree.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

The current crop of Minnesota murderers

Clunky sentence construction. The proper label is Death Squads. Much easier to say, and people understand immediately.

MAGA Death Squads have come to the streets of America.

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Good opportunity to check their papers before they flee town

[–] Hawke@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

“Controversial” eh? That’s an interesting way to spell “Nazi”

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Sources familiar with the matter say his balls froze off.

Too late...

[–] xc2215x@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Wish it would be more of them.
