Fuck AI

"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Please don't stop on children, no one want their clothes being stripped off without their knowledge and consent, digitally or physically.

[–] Virtvirt588@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Agreed, this problem isn't just the children - its everybody. Its actually problematic that this is how the situation is perceived, that only a minority is being spoken of. It is a problem of all, highlighting the severity of this situation.

Nearly? Donald Trump must have been among the sample group.

Not having access to Epstein island any more must have left a void.

What’s the latest on the Epstein files btw?

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 9 points 2 months ago (3 children)

In a shocking twist, they still have yet to be released.

What’s the latest on the Epstein files btw?

Trump has started a war with Venezuela, is threatening war with Canada and Europe, and is ordering the creation of a battleship (purportedly named the U.S.S. DAMN What is IN Those Files?!)

Yeah, but one super rich evil guy likes it the way it is, so nothing will change.

The dissenters can be recognised by their fedoras, goatees and fondness for the phrase “well, actually it’s ephebophilia”

[–] hanrahan@slrpnk.net 7 points 2 months ago

Nahh, the dissenters are still using X.

I seriously don’t understand why the entire world isn’t boycotting anything he touches. He’s a Nazi and a danger to the world

[–] rob_t_firefly@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

Because he's really popular with other nazis who are also dangers to the world.

Lizardman constant?

In a new survey conducted by YouGov amid the latest controversy surrounding the xAI chatbot, a staggering 97 percent of respondents said that AI tools shouldn’t be allowed to generate sexually explicit content of children, and 96 percent said they shouldn’t be able to generate “undressed” images of minors only wearing clothing like underwear, either

Lizardman constant!

The other 3 percent were reportedly various alternative accounts puppeteered by Elon Musk's left hand.

[–] then_three_more@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Na, just a few nonces

[–] biofaust@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago

Apple seems fine with the app on its store.

So that means western governments will start doing something about it? Lawsuits? Fines? Blocking x?

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 8 points 2 months ago

Whoa, whoa, whoa, that would be unfair.

They paid good money for that global far-right psy-op.

[–] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago (4 children)

There are Western governments? I thought there were corporations and sycophants. Was that you knocking? I didn't know we still had a door.

To quote Musk,

🤣 💩

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 13 points 2 months ago (2 children)

At this point, why would anyone want to be related to this Nazi pedophile child?

Seriously, if you buy a Tesla right now you deserve it be torched. You work for Tesla or SpaceX, and it's on you, you deserve to be ridiculed and lose your friends

At this point, of you work for this shit, do business with this shit, or buy from this shit, as far as I'm concerned you are a pedophile nazi as well

[–] luciferofastora@feddit.org 3 points 2 months ago

At this point, of you work for this shit

I'd shift some of the hate from the people working there to the economic situation that makes it hard to just leave a job.

I do agree though, anyone that has a choice should choose to distance themselves.

Sure, in a survey. Words are cheap.

Far from univeral in action, they're still on X.

[–] GreenBeanMachine@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago (8 children)

So 97% of Brits are gonna leave X, right?

[–] eestileib@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 2 months ago

Nearly universal, except for anybody with any power.

It's almost like the people in charge are irredeemable.

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 9 points 2 months ago

I want to remind everyone, what his reaction was:

He disabled the image generation! But!!! only for free users!!! He saw the CP and thought, I am fine with it if they pay me for it.

i know, adult victims are important too. But let's focus on the children.

[–] KelvarCherry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 2 months ago

Headline from Hell.

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 months ago

So all those people opposing it are going to stop using Twitter right?

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Man, when I read this, I didn't believe it. So I did a search and yup, this story is in EVERY major news site.

Funny thing though. The article said 97% oppose this. Yet, when it became possible there was an image generated every minute, I guess by the 3%.

I'm a bit relieved to see that the debauched, degenerate, drug-addled dicks like this are finally losing their popularity. /s
