Can someone fill me in on the Owl lore? I chose this name because it's relevant to me personally, and also I just think owls are neat.
There's no real lore, we just had several people with owl themed usernames and several dropped off over the years
Partially from coincidentally having several people with owl in their username earlier on and also @Dort_Owl@hexbear.net currently and in previous owl themed accounts has kept up the being an owl bit and had made myriad shitposts related to it. Plus we all like owls
owls are just derpy cats of the skies they are delightful

Nah, a few people signed up with owl accounts at the start of the website. I'm just the one who thought of trying a tiny username.
