I really think if someone unloaded on a group of ICE goons they would be seen like the CEO shooter by a lot of people, even my relatively conservative Christian grandma has called MAGA Nazis since 2016.
It's bound to happen right? I mean it'd take nothing for some ice ss troopers to roll up to the wrong house and be on the receiving end of a semi automatic weapon. Shit, just a few months ago they blew open someone's door for recording them, afaik, well try that shit on some 2A nutter's compound.
I'm surprised that they haven't gone after a 2a nut just by mistake and gotten blasted, seems like every other week a gun nut shoots someone for trying to deliver food, use their driveway to turn around, knock on the wrong door by mistake, or any other number of reasons they shoot someone. I just figured eventually one of them would be accosted by unidentified masked paramilitaries and decide to 
Gun nuts are largely reactionary cowards. They see a group of well armed people with automatic weapons, armor, they assume they're cops or at the very least that they can't take them and will be killed so would never engage. There are occasionally exceptions that are nihilistic mass shooter types who would be willing to kill the feds but they usually tend to hunker down so unless they burst into the home fortress of one of those types it's not likely to happen.
Thing is ICE can't go into homes without warrants as I understand it. Which is why most of their stuff happens in driveways, at schools, outside in various places, workplace raids, etc. So their chances of running into and disturbing a burrowed in like a tick extremist with a siege mentality and heavy weapons and a willingness to use them to kill feds is very, very low compared to even normal cops responding to domestic violence calls. Sure over years of time they'll probably eventually try and traffic stop a Sov-Cit type who opens fire and kills one ICE agent but then gets themselves and their family in the car riddles with hundreds of semi-auto rounds in the response from their teammates.
Very few Americans ever dare to kill cops unless their backs are literally against a wall and they're convinced there is no way out. A normal reactionary gun nut would put their guns down because they are a citizen and respect ICE and expect that they'll be processed and released and thus have a way out. That is they expect that they'll be treated fairly.

The real wild card is all the guns out there. There’s gonna be somebody with nothing left to lose being hassled by these goons and in the USA the odds of that person carrying go way the hell up. Put the 2 together and we have the scenario.
They target specific people in many (not sure the exact proportion) of their raids, so I guess that cuts down on the chances of their targets being armed, at least legally. Also, I don't think it's an accident that the vast majority of their targets have had no criminal past.
ICE members deserve the pit 
it's instructive to me that these people are unlikely to think critically about how much of a paper trail exists of their crimes against humanity.

in many of the pogroms and organized state terror campaigns that happened in the last 50 years, the kidnappings, disappearances, and killings lacked documentation and/or were carries out by irregular forces and contractors hidden behind corporate secrecy veils.
but federal government payrolls are pretty resiliently archived and will be at "risk" for declassifying by any administration or reconstituted government for the foreseeable future.
its a special kind of pride that never even considers the possibility that their actions today, obscured by mask and badge, could one day be exposed for all to know.
I think that they simply expect these records documenting their crime will never be used to bring them to justice. And looking at the way the world looks and where its going they are probably not likely to be wrong about that assessment.

It's pretty clear the entire agency is just Trump's goon squad now.
All arms of US law enforcement do heinous shit but most of them are also complex bureaucracies with departments within departments that do pretty mundane crap. The FBI probably has tons of people who just deal with like mail fraud or whatever and don't even work in the same building as the Fred Hampton assassination squad (edit: mind you I'm not saying that makes working for the FBI okay, even if you are in the mail fraud team. Just that agencies like the FBI serve an actual civic function besides just brutalizing people, thought they do brutalize people quite often). ICE's massive budget bump and recruitment campaign is clearly just a means of enlisting a bunch of MAGA wannabe-operator LARPers into ham fisted violence squad.

Technically that was the Chicago PD at behest of the FBI at behest of Hoover. I know, I know, "just following orders" is still hitlerite shit but it's important to understand the bureaucracy.
Chicago PD already had a history of murdering Panther members so I doubt they needed much goading.
FBI probably had something to do with MLK's death, or at the very least tried to harass him into suicide.

Which is to say, none. To me it's less "tee-hee we did an oopsie-poopsie" and more "your life doesn't mean shit to us and we're going to make your murder a cute little joke for the boys down at the station to laugh about".
It's hard to make a material case but given the complete obliteration of our education system combined with insane amount of debt makes a population ripe for racist scapegoating. As the economy continues to decline, I guarantee ICE's enrollment will go up.
