They’re trying to run the Iraq War propaganda playbook again but without the hysteria of 9/11 to shut off everyone’s critical thinking. No one is both buying this narco-state nonsense and also thinking it justifies another war.

Talk to the nearest trump supporting fox news (ohhh sorry actually they watch [insert chud news that's the exact same as fox]) chud and you'll find out how very wrong you are

They could literally just point at a random Venezuelan and say "They're brown, we need to murder them and take their oil." and CHUDs would still insist this war is 100% necessary. Any actual reason they give is just so they can pretend that they care beyond just being hateful dogs of empire.

“This epidemic, no doubt, was fueled by Purdue Pharma’s manufacturing and deceptive marketing of OxyContin, a highly potent and addictive drug. Dependency on the drug ruined countless lives, while the Sackler family and Purdue made more than $35 billion from its distribution, profiting off of the suffering of others.”

They had to pay a fine of $7 billion. And they got to choose the judge and district for their hearing.

Quote emphasis mine.

Honestly the way that wealthy people and corporations are allowed to profit massively by causing extensive harm and then only fined part of the profit they made from it might be the most radicalizing thing for me. I remember some wage theft scandals here where the fines paid were less than, not just the stolen wages themselves, but the estimated returns on the stolen wages from investing that money or whatever. Fucking insane.

The US caused the opioid epidemic

If Trump is serious about curbing drug trafficking with drone strikes he should start with Langley

The TrueAnon sub is probably my second favorite online space (you already know #1). Has its warts of course but the genuine ingenuiness is hard to find elsewhere
