Passive voice headline making it sound like an accidental fire just so happened to spread, meanwhile you look up the details and it was the fire from a drone strike sent on a school sheltering displaced people.

To be completely fair, "Israeli fire kills" isn't a passive voice, a passive voice would be "killed by Israeli fire" or simply "Palestinian children killed" without the need for who killed them. That said, on the little paragraph below they do use a passive voice to talk about the 350+ murdered Palestinians.

It's still distancing language. Israel bombs 2 Palestinian children to death would be the most direct and correct phrasing
