Ahh. Fresh new man-made horrors beyond my comprehension.

Stressing out and losing weight is famously good for your health, after all.

#HamasTerrorists

I hate it here. SEO and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Why am I still surprised nearly every day about what new lows capitalism will go to make a buck. I just don't understand how I keep getting surprised.

No wonder refugees are so often fashionably trim! New diet fad is sweeping through the upper crust of western high society - the Gulag Diet!

I thought stress made you more likely to gain weight or is that something else?

[-] Venus@hexbear.net 6 points 11 months ago

Some people overeat as a response to stress so that would do it. Stress on its own can't really affect your weight either way though

[-] quarrk@hexbear.net 3 points 11 months ago

I’ve heard that high cortisol (stress hormone) can cause weight gain, but idk if that’s just some health fad BS or real science.

[-] Pixel_Juicer@hexbear.net 4 points 11 months ago

I saw that in an interview recently. Diary of a CEO on YouTube with a neuroscientist. Specifically weight gain around the gut.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.
