I came up with "culturally Christian" to describe myself (atheist but does the Christian holidays) like three minutes before the fascists started using it and ruined it. Very annoyed with them.
e.g. he celebrates christmas and says "God bless you" when you sneeze.
Mostly just a white supremacist dog whistle. The whole clash of civilisations thing.
Same reason we get Kash Patel saying ‘See you in Valhalla’ about Charlie Kirk. It is all just cosplay.
And it gives him carte blanche to be frothing at the mouth racist against Muslims and get away with it!
Which is so annoying given that the vikings and muslims were pretty chill with one another. (For bad reasons, sure, the shared love of the slave trade was obviously bad) But a reason we know so much about the vikings is muslims writing shit down, and there's a bunch of islamic world treasure in viking burial sites.
The actual article is even more funny. The ADL is a hate group, just not for the reasons he believes and not against christians.
