Columbo has his shit together far more than Sherlock Holmes

[–] uSSRI@hexbear.net 20 points 2 days ago

Columbo has an amazing life. Goes around wrecking rich people, eating chilli and having the most multi faceted wife ever who is also Kate Mulgrew according to a very short lived Mrs. Columbo series. Also he's the guy id most wanna try to beat cause it'd be fun. I would consider committing murder just on the off chance id get investigated by Columbo, it'd be worth it.

Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau, the guy from Disco Elysium.

That looks like him, but it's actually Tequila Sunset, from the hit game Disco Elysium.

These are all my favorite fictional characters. I also look like I put together a nice looks like im falling apart outfit, acryal professional fashion designers have said they like my look and ive also been assumed to be homeless and given change or food while loitering. When I operate on vibes I try to do so intentionally, "ive decided to make an irrational choice" isn't an uncommon bit of internal monologue. Just make me a centrist i guess. I love detective characters because I too am a quirky weirdo who likes to investigate stuff.

I knew there was a Log Lady quote about why I love detective characters and conside myself one as well:

" I carry a log - yes. Is it funny to you? It is not to me. Behind all things are reasons. Reasons can even explain the absurd. Do we have the time to learn the reasons behind the human being's varied behavior? I think not. Some take the time. Are they called detectives? Watch - and see what life teaches."
