Slight inaccuracy, the blinds are not broken
They're also not the vertical style made of the cheapest and most brittle plastic available that becomes yellow and starts to splinter when exposed to sunlight long-term (they were installed in 1988)
Lol I was gong to point out they weren’t vertical but I’ve definitely slept on some horizontal blind hot couches
