weird, if they made so much money doing the thing in the video, why are they trying to make money by selling the video? curious

They are just truly kind-hearted, selfless, altruistic humanitarians giving up their time and their advice because they want to give back to the people, because they want to "pay it forward." They're philanthropists, you see? They don't need to do this for money! They are helping you purely out of generosity. What are you, some kind of cynic?

Yo dawg. we heard you like scams and AI is the biggest scam around right now, so we put AI into all your scams so you can build new scams out of recursive AI scamming!

Say what you will about the hallucinating AI that was trained on Redditisms and the SCP wiki, but some of those scam pitches are going to at least provide some novel entertainment value. (In the Lovecraftian sense. Because the AI is also incredibly racist.)

Lying about your business startup to build a youtube/patreon subscription income and then proclaiming yourself an expert marketing engineer.

I traced the impact of specifically my own labor on the company I worked for, and found that it generated $250,000 worth of mealworms from 200 hours of labor over 2 months. And that's with my efficiency being hamstrung by shitty managers.

I am not impressed by someone who boasts of making $15k a month in fad tech with a 1-person business model.

I used to work as a florist and made minimum wage. One time i made a flower arrangment that cost 500$ in like 25 minutes. and someone bought it. So round that up to 30 minutes that's 1000$ an hour i was creating for some rich asshole. More than i made there in a month.

Your service was surely very undervalued, but it's not like the supply of flowers is a trivial part of the income of a flower shop.

Imagine the SaaS model in FALGC

[–] homhom9000@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago

Scam-based economy

[–] underisk@hexbear.net 15 points 1 month ago

that first one is extremely funny to me. "I made 10k by copying something other people were making 100m from, this makes me very clever!!!"
