Every magat I know doesn’t care about the Epstein files anymore. They’re so sick of hearing about it and wish people would just move on.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 45 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Bbbbut the pedo satanic elites... why did they abandon such a beautiful and simplistic idea so fast

[–] cannedtuna@lemmy.world 27 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Because pizza isn’t involved

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 14 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, it IS hard to care about a multinternational sex ring that targets billionaires as clients including the current and some former presidents, when there's no pizza at the meeting.

No pizza = not important.

That's how these things works right? Bring donuts, kind of important. Bring pizza? Oh fuck! Shit just got real! Bring muffins? This meeting could have been an email.

[–] TachyonTele@piefed.social 11 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

You cant spell important without pizza!

[–] PerogiBoi@lemmy.ca 14 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Because America is a cult of personality and nothing matter except dear leader.

[–] vivalapivo@lemmy.today 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You can say it about almost every country nowadays

[–] PerogiBoi@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 weeks ago (8 children)

Really? What other countries have a cult of personality for their leader?

Because their dear leader is in it. For the far-right, "pedophilia" is something the bad guys do, the good guys "save a little girl from poverty in exchange of some favors", or "get seduced by a nasty little nymphet to smear their names". That's why they're using pedophile to mean "LGBTQ+ people" and don't bother about their own, because rules don't apply to the ingroup, only protects them.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 17 points 2 weeks ago

as instructed by thier right wing talking heads and MSMs.

[–] TimewornTraveler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

how much did you care about Hunter Biden's laptop

[–] JoeBigelow@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 weeks ago

Hunter Biden was never the goddamn president

[–] tamiya_tt02@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

Buttery males - for years we heard them complain about Hillary's emails. I bet they'd still complain now if you bring it up. Fucking hypocrites.

[–] blockheadjt@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 weeks ago

Only pedophiles wouldn't want it released.

[–] NatakuNox@lemmy.world 49 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Trump is a pedo...

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 27 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

What gets me is that we've already had an orgy of evidence regarding Epstein and his various partnerships.

And yet the various administrative and state DOJs - from Bush in '05 to Obama to Trump to Biden to Trump again to the Florida and NY and even the fucking Virgin Islands - had more than enough to start making sweeping indictments and arrests. And yet, nobody seems interested in pulling the trigger (or, when someone does, they're fired).

Everyone associated with Epstein - left, right, and center (excepting Gislane Maxwell) - is walking away scott free.

And yet we keep hearing about "The Hidden Files" that someone or other is keeping secret. The extra double-plus super dooper extra special evidence that can finally start indicting people. As though the witness testimonies and flight logs and transfer payments and real estate deals and extensive misuse of Les Wexner's Victoria Secret company resources just aren't enough to press charges on anyone.

You should have entire cell blocks full of people convicted for human trafficking and serial sexual assault based on any given litany of newspaper headlines. But here we are, still just waiting on the "Real" information to be released at last.

On my maps, I changed the name of Washington D.C. to The Gulf Of Stupidity.

It makes me laugh when I look at where our political power is kept.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

You should change a coworkers map to say "New Muxico" instead of "New Mexico".

Just to see how long they take to notice.

[–] DrDystopia@lemy.lol 3 points 2 weeks ago

Nu Muxicu, uccupt nu substututu.

[–] Tja@programming.dev 2 points 2 weeks ago
  1. Why?
  2. How?
  3. Why does the coworker have a map at all?
[–] nucleative@lemmy.world 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Guys let's just get one thing on the table.

The people with the guns and the money aren't going to give them up freely nor are they going to play by any rules or so-called moral values except for whichever facilitate obtaining more guns or money.

Always has been, always will be.

The only offsetting force is the power of the masses, which could come together and take it back at anytime.

[–] aeternum@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

guns OR money? Por que no los dos?

[–] nucleative@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Impressively, one can get the other

[–] Thief@lemmy.myserv.one 12 points 2 weeks ago

Someone should make a change petition to rename it gulf of the Epstein files and see if it gets enough signatures

[–] copd@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago (4 children)

let's be realistic here. they're going to be released pretty quickly after he leaves office or he dies

[–] PM_ME_VINTAGE_30S@lemmy.sdf.org 29 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Trump's not the only one in those files. There's gonna be lots of powerful people from both parties. If they ever get released, it'll be long after all the perpetrators have died.

[–] match@pawb.social 3 points 2 weeks ago

i figure they'll release a fake version that lets them arrest any political enemies they want

[–] AstralPath@lemmy.ca 17 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Why do you think that's the case? Its extremely likely that democrats and their donors are implicated as well. The safer bet is that these files are never released.

[–] copd@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

There will be copies, and everyone in the files will eventually lose their power either by death or abdication.

They will be released eventually, time always wins.

It just down to whether you'll still be alive to see it

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

The only certain thing time does is erasing things. It may or may not uncover them first, that one is far from certain.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 2 weeks ago

the donors of the gop and DNC have more to lose to have it released: hollywood execs(already implicated in various SA by actors), billionaires,,etc.

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

From your lips to the ears of God so it happens soon.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Leaves office? You think he's ever going to leave voluntarily he's going on about having a third term.

[–] copd@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

there will be a time where trump leaves office, if you disagree with that statement you must genuinely think humans can be immortal

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

He'll die sure maybe even their natural causes if we're unlucky but he'll not leave.

There's no scenario where Trump is still alive but not president.

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 1 points 2 weeks ago

Or a hand-picked successor.

[–] SpaceShort@feddit.uk 1 points 2 weeks ago

Not unless there are mass protests that completely paralyze the country, which is why we should make sure that happens.

[–] jsomae@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What files are they exactly? Is it just, like, his list of contacts, or there something else?

[–] ExploitedAmerican@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The fbi found hidden compartments full of CD’s hard drives and other digital media when they raided his manhattan 8 story townhouse mansion. There are pictures of this and then they all disappeared from chain of command custody. All his properties were bugged with pinhole cameras and microphones everywhere even in the bathrooms and there were surveillance monitoring computer control rooms in the basement. I don't believe a defacto “list” exists because people committing crimes even within the intelligence community don't just write down their criminal doings. But there are definitely videos of powerful wealthy people doing awful things to children and who knows what/who else.

Bondi said the files were all just a bunch of child 🌽 and would never see the light of day but she didn’t say if it was child 🌽 he randomly downloaded from the dark web(yeah right like anyone with a brain would believe that) or child 🌽 of the wealthy political elite individuals in his orbit abusing underaged minors and doing other career ending things filmed by Epstein.

[–] jsomae@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

interesting. Well if people want these released, they better get released soon before it becomes plausible to claim it's deepfake.

I'm pretty sure that the Epstein client list have been incenarated, with out only hope remaining is a single person making a backup copy of it illegally. (The FBI agent reading this: You can do a very funny thing if I'm wrong.)
