Does it get better? It’s awful popular..
It's a lot like the mid-late 90's non-Beavis and Butthead MTV animation in that it's unapologetic about its poor animation and art or its completely unhinged premise. It doesn't get better, but if you let yourself get into its groove you will become more open to it and enjoy it more.
But it won't become more like something else.

It's definitely not for everyone, it appeals more to people like me who have been watching dumb YouTube cartoons since 2007 and leans into the 'lol random' style of comedy. If you aren't enjoying the first ep it's probably not for you.
It’s great if you like stoner Adult Swim stuff. It was a breath of fresh air for those of us that missed things like Superjail!, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, etc instead of endless Family Guy reruns and shonen.

It's a weird brand of comedy. Watched one episode with my wife, and while I enjoyed it, she said she wasn't nearly high enough for it.

So something can't be popular just because you haven't heard about it? It's immensely popular, one of Adult Swim's biggest hits ever.
Of course I'm not saying I'm the arbiter of popularity. Comment sections are for sharing personal experience or opinion. I hadn't heard of it so I said that.
I will say I've at least heard of most popular things, but that's clearly not an absolute fact

He’s playing a character in that. One that’s fun, but still. I met him once, nice guy who understandably doesn’t like all the trappings of celebrity. A lot of people take it as being aloof or condescending, but he was just a dude.
It’s such a good show. Alton Brown does such a good job. They have another one now I guess with someone who is very much not Alton brown and it’s sad.
