They'll cancel everything but the remasters. I hate the lack of anything new coming out of AAA studios.

The new stuff coming out of AAA hell even AAAA have been shit lately. Let them eat themselves, I'll get their sloppy seconds when they are on sale.
AA and indie games are where it’s at these days
Always has been.
What about AAAAA?
Everything Bethesda does is kind of bad. I'll probably get them when they're on sale, but I don't expect anything good.
Get Larian to make a fallout game
And an Elder Scrolls game. And a sequel to Starfield.
After the TV series (which got weaker as it went on), there was a huge surge in its popularity but that quickly declined when new players saw the amount of hours they had to put in to play and explore.
There is no doubt that these new games will be aimed squarely at monetising those players and not its pre-existing fanbase.
I'm still waiting for them to recover financially so they can create another deep RPG like Daggerfall. I'll bet ES6 will be for the fans /s
Gotta get that delicious turnip blood.
spin up 5 projects. hire devs from all over the world, make them work on site in person. people upend their entire lives for a chance at a stock option.
cancel 2 after 10 months.
cut the teams on two of the others.
cut the teams again.
and again.
oh wait hire like crazy and overcorrect so we can
cut the teams again.
Then cancel 1d3 of remaining projects, announce REMASTERED
All devs cut never neared their stock vestment, all shares returned to the mothership, start to consider spinning up 5 more new projects.
Wow they should hire you as CEO!
I couldn't stomach it.
Why bother with 5 at all right now? Remaster 3, and New Vegas, take the profits from those and then release 5. Oh and also keep that shit offline. 76 was a huge let down.
Because a fully new game takes way longer and more resources to develop than remasters.
I got 76 "free" in a humble monthly bundle and I still feel ripped off.
I mean, they do have the infinite money glitch, a.k.a. being owned by Microsoft. If Microsoft's investors think Fallout 5 will make its money back, it's more lucrative to get started on it sooner rather than later.
And it does also need to be said that they can't keep remastering Fallout titles forever. They need to develop a new title at some point.
Bethesda Game Studios has so far always only had one game in development at a time, which should be TES6 right now. If they are working on Fallout 5, we're likely talking pre-production stages. So, it might very well be the case that the two remasters come out in roughly equal spacing before Fallout 5 comes out in a few years.
The 3 people that still play 76 say it's good now. I'll choose to believe them and not check for myself.
i feel like theres a lot more people playing 76 than starfield at this point
God fucking forbid they make ES6
Game studios don't only work on one game at a time, especially not big studios like Bethesda.
I don’t think they have a good idea for ES6 and they know it’ll be a disappointment so they aren’t in a rush to put it out there
They're working on that, too. It went from preproduction to full development about 2 years ago. It is likely to be released next year, according to some sources that were also completely accurate about the Oblivion remake rumors.
I'll pass, thanks. Bethesdasoft can get fucked.
They lost me when they released Fallout 76 prematurely and refused to honor my refund request. I'm glad I bought it direct rather than through Steam, I charged that shit back and swore them off right then.
Wish you hadn’t deleted the post so I had to go find the new one.
Next time just edit it.
