My home town has an annual 4th of july parade. They feature the High School's marching band, about a dozen firetrucks from nearby cities, and about 160 vehicles total. The local flight school flies a loose formation of 5 Cessna 150s over the route.
Attendance is usually between 10,000 and 12,000.

The biggest and bestest parade of all time, I'd say! Now that is exactly what I wanted to see-- out of step marching (they absolutely know how to march perfectly, it's literally drilled into them), old ass machinery, and never once saying HB to that ass-clown, they made it about the army instead. Old military equipment is part of any parade though, the tank in the photo is a ww2 Sherman.
