Jazz cabbage or the Devil’s lettuce
Devil's lettuce, Mary Jane and "marahuana" (in the Hank Hill voice) are probably my favorites that immediately come to mind
sticky icky in hank hill voice is pretty fun
I try to avoid terms that demonize or leads to alluding to war on drugs.
So the only correct term, is cannabis.
I don’t call my kids or my adhd meds meth, speed, amphetamines, etc. so I refuse to acknowledge the same for this medicine.
I respect that. What about "traditional" names like ganja?
Wacky tobacky
I absolutely abhor tobacco way too much to use that.
Also the first time I actually heard it used was that country song, so I hate it even more on top of that.
Although I do respect that outside that context it is kinda funny. But not my choice.
Reefer
At some point my lines got crossed between "Beefarino", a fictional food stuff that was fed to a horse in an episode of Seinfeld which led to handsome cab ending levels of equine flatulence, and "reefer". Out loud I think I say "weed" most often, but in my internal monologue I call it "reeferino" well over half the time.
I used to call it kale for a while

I was juicing kale for a while.. It tasted like bitter stagnant mud.
I wouldn’t juice that shit. I love it in salads and soups. The texture makes it.
Weed, herb, or pot. In order of frequency.
Occasionally the more fun names like devils lettuce and wacky tobacky haha
In french, the most common name is probably "beu" which is a contraction of "beuher" which is verlan (a type of slang where you reverse the word) for "herbe".
This was distorted in a movie to "beuze" , which was then given the verlan treatment again (this happens often) to "zeb", hence my personal favorite "zebuline". Mind you, that's not a common name that's a personal one I use often.
We had Mama Cahuna for a while when I was little, has a fun ring to it imo.

Not sure of its origin, but it's been called Bubatz in Germany for a couple years now, so I sometimes, mostly jokingly, say Bubatz. My SO and I usually say Bubert because couples speak or Weedle like the Pokemon because 'weed'
Favorite word is a better question but in common speech I'll generally just say weed.
I like dope because of the ambiguity.
Gigglebush
Kush is my most frequent, but jazz cabbage is probably my favorite
I mostly use cannabis, especially if I'm taking about cbd, cbn, cbg. Often weed if i mean thc.
Mary Juana
when my wife or I asked each other if we want to go out for a smoke, we call it a "poof"
I dated somebody whose family used that as a synonym for farting. So thank you for taking it outside!

I usually call it "pot," but then multiple people said I sound like an old person, so now I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I guess I'll start calling it "dope."

Pakalolo. I never actually call it that though because I'm not in Hawaii, and I doubt anyone outside of the state knows it.
My brother and I use several terms interchangeably. Usually just weed, but medicine and flower, and sometimes herb get used a bit when we feel like changing it up.
Pretty boring selection most of the time.
Oh, almost forgot "stuff". Yeah we're kind of boring lol.
