The game starts with a personality test to "find out which cat girl is more compatible with you"

The game's name is Cat Fantasy. Standard horny waifu gacha game. Didn't expect them to be so direct with the data collection lol

The waifu needs your social security number! It's not a scam, baka!! It's her special kink...

Imagine with hitting it off with someone on Tinder then on your first date they start asking what's your favorite insurance provider and which of the following words do you think best describe your feelings towards Levi's Jeans

Then you go home and you get hit with a dream-advertisement on tinder++ to improve your chances to get an actual date next time.

This is where a separate perv persona for online ... whatever ... comes in handy. It's why I would never buy such a game on Steam(or at all, but that's just me, and far from advice I would give).

Just give an answer in-character, not an IRL one.

Yes, I may play a your standard murder-hobo in games, but I would still like to be able to do a guest appearance on my kids' or a friend's Twitch/whatever streams without some one digging and sharing with them that I had collected a trophy/achievement in Murder Harem: Furry's Vore Safari Edition, or even the vanilla crap I am actually even slightly into.

Good news! You can buy Murder Harem: Furry's Vore Safari Edition (if that's what you're into) on Steam and nobody would ever know as long as you mark it as private while it's in your basket! Assuming it works as they say you'll still be able to play the game as normal but nobody else would know unless they directly log in to your account.

The faq doesn't mention the new Steam Family stuff though. I'm guessing it'll at least be hidden for parent accounts, but since parent accounts can control game access for child accounts that might not be as private?

I just set up Steam Family last night, and it specifically shows my private games under not shared.

This makes me glad I long ago went the route of having a second steam account for lewd games. Cause I'm setting up family sharing for my dad to have access to flight simulators.

Sorry kid, gotta wait until you're 18+

[-] Korne127@lemmy.world 14 points 5 days ago

Are… you implying Murder Harem: Furry’s Vore Safari Edition isn’t a vanilla game?!

[-] MachineFab812@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 5 days ago

Game Mechanics wise? No idea. Porn wise?Well, it sure sounds like it wouldn't be vanilla.

I have no interest in finding out what's even less vanilla than Beastiality Vore. That's the "Safari" part; I'm not trying to imply that furries are all into literal beastiality.

In-character? How can you stay in character when you are blatantly being manipulated by the ~~data collection software~~ game

Murder Harem: Furry's Vore Safari Edition, or even the vanilla crap I am actually even slightly into.

Don't worry, we won't tell.

Straight neutral answers across the board - make that data as useless as possible
