bar shot, because it also implies the existence of giants with piercings

tumblr post where first post reads, alternate universe where when darth vader declares that he's Luke's father Luke comes to the (entirely reasonable) conclusion that darth vader and anakin skywalker were married

reply reads, How could you kill your HUSBAND?!" and Luke gets away with his hand because Anakin's too confused trying to figure out when he and Obi Wan got married and why he's only learning about it now

edit: also I'm @QuinnyCoded@sh.itjust.works, I think my home instance is updating or sthm right now 🤷‍♀️

I'm sure it's safe if you can do it correctly, but I would not trust myself like that

that looks dope as hell, but I'm not really a hi-fi user other than my desktop setup which is where my pain with aux comes from

I have a "beyrdynamics dt 350 limited edition" (iirc) with a custom cord because I sit like a shrimp and the long studio port would dig into my shoulder
I hate long cords so I measured it to be 3.5 feet but in reality it often tugs on the port and comes out so easily. it's really annoying but I'm not paying another $50 to get a new cord or risking it with my nonexistent sauder skills

to be honest, I agree with you somewhat. but it's the best we got for now till a competitor comes along.

that being said though headphone jacks are SO annoying because they make noise and fall out so easily, I wish we could get a 2nd USBC instead.

also I'm gonna keep using my Pixel 8 till security updates run out then see how fairphone is doing. It was a tough decision to get the pixel but the fairphone 5 wasn't sold where I live back then :(

I miss r/flatearth where the comments were like a 5050 if it was satire or genuinely someone from Facebook believing it

I wonder if it's a joke label or not

There's a Fallacy called the Fallacy Fallacy which is a Fallacy that's based on the idea that if an argument has a Fallacy the conclusion is false which is a Fallacy, the Fallacy that the Fallacy Fallacy is about.

Got the snoot, but no the boot.

I wanted to get this photo of my cat (sleeping in the window) and a treat i got for her in the same photo, when I took the photo the cat was in frame but when it processed neither were in frame completely ruining my photoshoot :(
Is there a way to,
A: get both in focus (preferred)
or,
B: keep only 1 in focus

Also, is there any way to prevent a photo from processing? When I take a photo of a screen ex. a funny thing on a school laptop, it looks good in the camera app but when it processes it has warping lines and looks really bad. Compression might ruin it but here's an example:

with supply and demand and all... IM DEMANDING CANNED BREAD!! where's the supply 🥺?

It replaces workers with robots so it would probably save money too.

I don't dream. By that I mean like 2-4 a year, but when I do they are weird. The most I've ever had was when I had a repeating dream like 3 nights in a row. Last night was one of the nights when I did dream.

So me and my dad went to a car dealership and bought a motorcycle and a cybertruck. We like to buy used cars and drive them till death to save the 'new' tax. We also wouldn't buy a motorcycle so this started off extremely strange. Anyways, I started driving the cybertruck home (it was nighttime) and I guess fell asleep at the wheel because I woke up while driving.

I am 17 and have only been driving for ~1.5 years so driving is still very scary for me, falling asleep at the wheel was extra terrifying. Some more background, my first car (a green 2016 Kia soul 💚) has recently had the ABS and anti-slip thing warning lights turn on and off randomly, always together. My oil change is in like a week and the break fluid is probably low and nothing feels different so I was told to keep driving to school/work with it till I can get an oil change.

Back to the dream, while I was freaking out nearly crying because I fell asleep, the car somehow turned into me driving the motorcycle and going 15 over the limit at 75mph. The road I was on was going to turn into a city soon so I started slowing down, but my brakes didn't work (flashback to my IRL warning light). I started freaking out trying all sorts of stuff to slow down like wiggling back and forth on the road or pulling the emergency break (idk if motorcycles even HAVE e-brakes) but nothing was really working. I don't remember how but somehow I managed to get it down to 15mph and bailed off in some empty lot in the city.

At this point I realized it was a dream and I was like explaining it to my family the next day and laughing about it. THEN I ACTUALLY WOKE UP.

I fell asleep IN A DREAM... IN A DREAM!? It was actually so weird. There was more that smoothed it out where I wasn't just jumping from thing to thing but when I wake up my mind starts writing over the memory of the dream like a VHS tape, Is this what it's like for people who normally dream or am I just different?

Review on Amazon: A banana for scale should be to scale https://a.co/d/aAZPaX4

Alt text1 star review by user "Tall Guys Wife" on Amazon of a rubber banana that has the words [for scale] on it.
Picture attached shows rubber banana is smaller than real banana.

Review text reads: "purchased this 'banana for scale, but it's way smaller than an average banana. People on social media demand if you're showing something that you use an average banana for scale. I would never deceive anyone with this ridiculous substitute for an accurate measuring tool."

Weevil time

I am a library aid for my highschool, these books were once taken off the shelves and legally banned.

However due to many authors and publishers threatening to sue (and some actually following through), 36 of the 176 books banned have returned.

Hope it continues. And sorry if this breaks the politics rule even if it doesn't show a politician.
