Discovered the Sameboy emulator today and I love it, the built in monochrome shader is perfect and looks exactly like the real thing. So what Gameboy games do you recommend? (hexbear.net)

Catrap is a funny little puzzle game. Heiankyo Alien is a port of a really classic maze game.

Surprised to see nobody recommend Mega Man V, which unlike its predecessors is a bespoke entry, very cool.

How come they developed for iOS and not Android? I get why you wouldn't port it on mobile at all so you don't have to deal with a touchscreen but I don't see why an open source project would go for the walled garden and neglect the more flexible and cheaper alternative

Donkey Kong 94 - great puzzle platformer

Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru - Japan-only, but has an English patch. A lot of stuff from Link's Awakening was prototyped in this game
