On the one hand, I can get where he's coming from on a humanitarian viewpoint, that praying for someone else's death is in the abstract a bad thing.

But to break up a band that's been going for like 25 years and that was the foundation of his entire success over something that could be equated to being a jovial quip either means that tenacious d has other issues as a band or that Jack Black has some political opinions that are more important to him than his friends.

I hope he gets a wake up call and attempts to repair the relationship with Kyle Gass as soon as possible.

Or…… Jack Black has a lucrative movie career that could get completely derailed if he doesn’t distance himself from this for a while.

I dunno. He's American. Killing insurrectionists and fascists is pretty popular. I heard they put something about it in the constitution.

Jack is a coward. It's the least metal thing he's ever done .. and he played a cartoon panda.

Did he confirm the band is breaking up, or could they just be canceling the tour until this blows over?

There's no news about the band breaking up. They just don't want Kyle shot live on stage.

I mean, wouldn't the safest place to continue doing concerts would be Australia, where they actually have pretty stringent gun laws?
