A North Texas man has filed a class action lawsuit against Cinemark, claiming the movie theater chain is lying to customers about the size of its drinks.

Shane Waldrop claims that Cinemark's 24 ounce cups can only hold 22 ounces of liquid, according to the lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Waldrop took the empty container home and measured how much it could hold, discovering it only held 22 ounces.

I love this guy, totally something I would do

I like the thought of him picking up the cup at the counter, weighing it in his hand for just a moment, and saying to the ~~kid~~ young adult on the other side, “This feels a little light.”

Edit:I just remembered you had to be 18 to sell beer in Texas.

"I think it's a half-gram heavy on the back end."

Name that movie.

Yeah, Chronicles of Riddick. The sequel to Pitch Black. I misremembered.

Shame on you, mixing up Vin Diesel films.

He's the Humphrey Bogart of our era.

Let's face it Casablanca and XXX are really just the same movie.

Wait, is it still a sequel if the other movie is a prequel?

Chronicles of Riddick. Keep what you kill. Which is weird because he was given that knife and not the body of the guy he stabbed in the head with it.

Ooh, John Wick or Resvoir Dogs. Now let me google it.

Lol, way off. Been a while on that one.

Haha oh man, it's one of my favorites. But you gotta watch the director's cut.

Edit:I just remembered you had to be 18 to sell beer in Texas.

But you have to be 21 to drink it?

I'm sure nobody who is pouring draft at 18 would ever think to sample their wares... for quality control, of course.
